  1. By the way, does Matt Clark have a mohawk of some sort? I guess I hadn't seen him without his cap on before.
  2. I think it's fair to say that Ozuna likes to hit at Miller Park. Geez.
  3. A few innings ago, but I do love the aggressive baserunning shown by Segura to get to third on that throw over.
  4. And I am back to watching again tonight..... not sure why but here I am.
  5. While it's true that we squandered our best offensive opportunity and probably the game in the 8th, if we were somehow to have a miraculous run and make the playoffs do you at all trust KRod in a high leverage situation in a post-season game? I sure as hell don't.
  6. I stayed for that entire sorry spectacle tonight. I am deflated and it hurts to watch this. The only saving grace is if this leads to real changes that need to made across the board in this organization. I hate booing and never boo.... until tonight when I honestly couldn't help myself.
  7. Did we have to revive this thread from the glory days of April?
  8. I purposely looked to his seats to see if he was there tonight and noticed that they were empty.
  9. I just got home from the game tonight and I have never been as disappointed in my three decades as a Brewers fan as I was tonight. That is saying something.
  10. Honestly, Braun looks truly bad out there. Is there any chance that the old Braun ever returns?
  11. I posted this in a different thread over a week ago, but if this team finishes below .500 this year, as it seems it is highly possible, than there needs to be some wholesale changes going on. It is simply unacceptable to go from 18 games over .500 or whatever it was to this joke we are watching right now.
  12. Well it would be really nice to see the first quality start from Brad Penny in several seasons. (Blue)
  13. How about the decade of the 90's?
  14. Probably should have been done a long time ago.
  15. It happens around MLB all the time though. It's generally just a given that a manager or GM will have an extra year added on no matter what if they are not getting fired at the conclusion of the previous season. I don't think MA will hesitate to can them both if we end up with a losing record.
  16. If the season plays out like this the rest of the way I hope we can expect major organizational shake-ups and changes. If we aren't going to make the postseason maybe a tailspin which possibly results in a sub-.500 record is exactly what we needed. That would be tough to spin as it seems like it is every year.
  17. What did I miss? Bruce Seid passed away yesterday but I'm not sure who the certain someone is who left the board or in-game-thread.
  18. Again, I am not even coming close to saying his number should be retired, but he does have a unique role in our team's history in the sense that he was consistently a key part of our rotation during some good years (for this franchise). For a team like the Brewers to have made the playoffs twice out of four seasons (and potentially this year as well) is not something that is taken lightly here. This is the same team that has honored a World Series loss over and over again throughout the last 30 years.
  19. While I don't think that there is any chance that Gallardo has his number retired, I don't think that the OP was talking about something completely ridiculous. Remember that retired numbers around baseball include a number of guys who are not HOFers and have their numbers retired because of their unique role in that particular team's history.
  20. He was just on the telecast a few weeks ago. This may have been literally one of the least likely headlines I expected to wake up to today. RIP Bruce.
  21. Ironically, if RR were to get canned here in September I think it would be Narron who takes over as manager since he has managerial experience and I bet the front office would go for that under the circumstances.
  22. I am seriously wondering if we will finish with a winning record this year.
