  1. Couple of real hit festivals in this series hey?
  2. This is probably the closest I come to drunk. Brian, Brian, Brian. Man. I don't know what to say. I somehow feel responsible for your misfortune. Next time we get together, I shall make it my duty to get you plastered. As the creator of this fine site, I believe it to be your duty to make a drunken post so you know what it's like. This is paramount to the continued success of this site- call it moderating if you want to. How can you allow a thread, even participate in it without actually doing so with the true spirit that is the drunk thread? Shame on you.
  3. Bill Hall with the web gem. NOT 40 page game thread with over 10,000 views shot to heck.
  4. Ok. I admit it. This is the first I've seen of this page. How do I get there without that particular link?
  5. GP- looks like you've got a long lost brother out there someplace.... my fingers tes feeel like they are ats fat as assausages.
  6. http://newandnostalgic.com/pictures/current/storepartysupplies/basecandle.jpg Yeah, very poor picture, but it's all I found right away. Happy Birthday.
  7. 1B Lyle Overbay, 1B Guess who's not going anywhere? BUT- no Wes Helms in the lineup....... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif edit: P.S. it's nice to be able to post again after my self imposed 24 hour ban because of Friday's loss.
  8. http://www.lawrys.com/images/product_images/product_sb_lemonpepper.jpg Let's "Pepper" this lemon!!! hahaha. sorry.
  9. Looks like I can post tomorrow, as long as Davis doesn't have to bunt anymore. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smokin.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smokin.gif
  10. I absolutely guarantee a Brewer win tonight. I feel so confident in my reverse jinx power, that if we lose tonight, I will voluntarily suspend myself from posting for all of Saturday. With that reminder, I'm leaving. I'm goin' to my buddies house to BBQ and have a few beers while listening to the game. I'll probably check the IGT from his house, but if not, SEE YA TOMORROW!
  11. Or how about this? Bill Hall has three bad things with his swing: strike 1. strike 2. strike 3. From last night's IGT: passed ball error error passed ball intentional walk 3-Run HR by the pitcher Well Done H0FFY, let's call it "Ode to sucking crap" Ode to Sucking Crap: by brewerjamie15 (my view on it) Brewers, Brewers, in the night. Play so poor it gives a fright. They use no swiftness, they have no plight. They can not score, They can not field. our enthusiasm has begun to yield. Ned says "Battle, use some grit" I just say they look like .....
  12. I'll admit it. I've had better reverse jinx posts. I'm sometimes funnier, but the sad thing is some players are actually so bad at fielding that no matter how sarcastic I try to be, it becomes a valid argument. How about this? Geoff Jenkins could not catch a -dead- fly with a vacuum cleaner. Our offense could not catch fire if you doused them in gasoline and lit a match. If runners left stranded were nickles, we could pay Lee's salary. Carlos Lee could not buy a hit if he were in a crack house and had a $20 bill. (I used that before, sorry)
  13. OK- here's my new IGT signature line: I guess I just figured people knew about the "Jamie's rant on players" thing. yeah, see... it's a reverse jinx kinda thang... I'm being sarcastic purely to ensure that named players have a good game. I absolutely guarantee a Brewer win tonight. I feel so confident in my reverse jinx power, that if we lose tonight, I will voluntarily suspend myself from posting for all of Saturday. Now for a flashback signature line-- *-- I have super powers --*
  14. As funny as that sounds, Dusty's brother has now moved into the neighborhood, as has taken up the "crush Jamie's psyche" philosophy. On another note, looks like I'm not ging to the game anymore. My friend that was supposed to go with me can no longer make it, and I can't seem to get anyone else to go. Wife is sick, friends that actually answer the phone can't go. Kind of a bummer. I really wanted to go. Anyone on the East Side feel like going if I drive?

  16. The Brewers have not scored in their last 19 innings. The Brewers have commited 5 (at least) errors in the past three games. I have now realized the following: I need to be psycho-analized for being a fan of this team. I must have some mental defect. Not only can our pitching staff not bunt, but fielding is quite the problem for them- I've got countless examples to choose from. Lyle Overbay has a gold glove over at first base. Seriously, his glove must be made of gold or some other metal. How else do you explain 7 errors so far? Rickie Weeks sucks at second base. Face it. He's played 42 games at second base and has 10 errors. The closest Weeks comes to "fielding" is when he's standing next to some dude with that last name. JJ Hardy really can't be ripped on for his glove, because he does not have one. a fielding pct. of .977 would prove that fact. Branyon/Helms/Hall They of the "Cement Hands Club" should probably all play third at the same time- just create a wall of bodies over there and knock down some balls. Helms could best help the team defensively by staying in the dugout. Branyon's best contribution to the defense came when he was on the D.L., and Hall has the innate ability to make the routine play look impossible. El Caballo could be out-fielded by Mr. Ed. El Caballo plays left field like "El Crappola" Geoff Jenkins has 5 errors in right field. Jamey Wright has a better chance of throwing a no hitter than Jenks does of catching three consecutive pop flys. Tony Migliaccio needs to be fired immediately, he has lost the Brewer bats. These guys couldn't hit if -Brian the Automator- was pitching to them. Our offensive is quite well, offensive. I'm glad to see that the Brewers are doing one thing well as a team: slumping. Thank goodness I'm going to the game tonight: should be a comedy of errors.
  17. Ya know what really sucks? I'm going to the game tomorrow. I've come to a stategic conclusion. You should probably try to score a run or two every 21 innings. edit: typo

  19. How should I know? I can do the following: email junk post play neat games turn on and off
  20. Any news on Clement?? Nothing. I just checked ESPN News at the top of the hour, and they mentioned it but the game was in progress so they did not show it. Just said he was taken off the field and we will get updated after the game.
  21. I'm tryin' to get into the chat room and can't. I get a message ****** IRC****** notinited security features are off get same with Firefox & IE
  22. Jenkins could not go yard on a kindergarten playground. Wow. the reverse jinx works again. I gotta do this a bit more often.
