Ok, well first of all it plays alot better and more realistic. You can download the rosters off of someones EA locker which means all the players have their real names now. NCAA 08 seemed broken at times, way too much fumbling etc. I really like NCAA 09. Why don't you download the demo or rent it?

What about as a Brewer fan? But I really don't think there is much parity in baseball, I think all thats happening as of late is the New York Yankees management got incredibly stupid, and some of the smaller market teams have gotten very smart. Ask a Pirates fan, or Royals fan, or even someone on this board what they think of parity in baseball. -

I have Marquette on Friday I'm visiting and then catching a Brewers game after. Once I see Marquette I'll have a good idea of what my plan is going to be. I'm pretty excited to see Marquette too. As of right now: (Marquette isn't there yet, as I haven't seen it yet) 1. Madison 2. La Crosse and Eau Claire (Too similar to decide between these two, if I had to decide I'd go back for 2nd looks) For sure I will be visiting Madison again once school is in session, as 40,000 people filling the campus I'm sure will make the campus seem different from the visit I just did. But from judging from what other members of this site have said and some other people I know at Marquette that I've encountered recently, Marquette should be pretty good as well.

I haven't seen Marquette yet, but being urban isn't that big of an issue for me because there is more to the world than the 200 person towns of central Wisconsin. I still love living where I'm at right now, and someday will probably come back to live here. You know what I mean. But I'm really impressed by Madison and can really see myself going there.

I haven't yet overcome the fear of asking if someone's a poster and getting a blank stare. Yeah, it was me. How'd you guess? The Brewer jersey do it for you or what? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I really liked Madison, unless Marquette is really awesome, I think it would be hard to not go to Madison if accepted. The draw watching Big Ten athletics is pretty cool. The only thing I'd be even worried about at all is the size and the fact that some of the campus is pretty urban. I live in a very rural area and go to a High School in a town of 2,000, but that isn't that big of a deal for me.

Well when I went to La Crosse, the admissions counselor said of the schools I'm considering that 1. Madison, 2. La Crosse, 3. Eau Claire, and she didn't know where to put Marquette. Tomorrow I'm visiting Madison.

I picked up NCAA 09 yesterday, but my XBOX hasn't arrived yet. I got a call while I was out yesterday saying UPS attempted to deliver the XBOX, so I should be getting it today. My gamertag is T B0NE 10 (remember the o in tbone is a zero). Also I think you can download the rosters on NCAA now, so no more RB #39, etc I also picked up Guitar Hero Aerosmith

Two of my friends have a fascination with subpar athletes. Especially Calvin Booth and Gus Frerotte One team was the Boothinators and Frerotte's Fire as the other with this as the logo The kid is hilarious, whenever we play Madden he would choose the Rams and put in Frerotte over Bulger. And hes tough at Madden so its embarrassing when your getting beat by Frerotte.

another baseball/softball rules question that I'm confused about, and I saw last night in the all-star game. I ump little league games and softball games for a summer job type of thing. (its not that serious of an environment but I want to get the call right) What if a ground ball bounces in fair territory but heads towards foul territory short of the basepath, and the fielder reaches his arm over and catches the ball before it hits the ground in foul territory.

Well remember many major leaguers play for internatinoal teams. Like Carlos played for Panama. I'd say Villanueva and Gallardo have a shot at making their teams. Even Gagne for Canada. (Even though he won't be with us next year, thank god)

I have taken the actual ACT just once and got a 28. What is this OP's choices? In US News and World Report Madison is the top WI school at around 30, then Marquette around 80. La Crosse is in the top 3 I believe in Midwestern schools category. According to that chart that hawing posted above I'd have an 80% chance of getting into Madison. Some of you were wondering my excurricular activities, I'm in baseball, football, FFA, and quiz bowl, sadd, and I think Ill join NHS this year. 3.7 GPA with all the CP and AP classes my school offers. I was thinking that when I go somewhere looking for a job, will some people have heard of La Crosse or Eau Claire? I figure everyone knows Madison and Marquette. Or doesn't it really matter?

Went to Eau Claire today. Its a very nice campus there. I don't know how much I'd like "the hill" though http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I think its crazy how similar La Crosse and Eau Claire actually are. If I were to decide between these two, I wouldn't know which to pick.

Going to Eau Claire tommorow, I really do think I'm leaning towards going to Marquette or Madison though, because of name recognition. If I really want to get an awesome job someday wouldn't it be of benefit to go to one of those schools? Also I got my AP test results back today. I got a 5/5 on US History, surprised myself

Braun All Star Jersey - does it come in button front?

Seriously, Do you guys expect to see CC Sabathia pinch hitting for us? I think he could be a better option at times that the other CC or Dillion. I'm not saying its a win that got away.....but Gagne sure ruined our chances of attempting to get a win today. Is it just me or does it seem that Edwin Encarnacion is becoming a Brewer killer. -
Those aren't that bold, but I certainly agree with all of them. After the CC trade, not making the playoffs is now considered a failure, and Yost will pay for it. Gagne should be gone right now, I don't know why but for some reason I have more faith in Mota getting it together instead of Gagne. I still don't trust Mota though

I've seen enough of Gagne. There is NOTHING good about him. We have guys in A ball that could be just as effective as him.

It would be awesome to have Sheets and Sabathia in our rotation for a while. Having them two almost guarantees us to be competitive. A true "ace" starting in 40% of your teams games!
