I have officially now applied to UW-Madison and Marquette. I should get a reply back for Madison within 4-6 weeks. I'll be pretty nervous when I open the letter as I'm unsure to whether or not I'll be accepted. Marquette pools their applications so I wont know until January I'm also going to apply to UW-La Crosse and Eau Claire

I'm pretty done applying, my English teacher is just helping get my essays perfect and I have a few teachers writing letters of recommendation. I hope to get my application in by the end of the month.

Yeah Im not too sure what I really want to do yet Some things I've been thinking about 1. Something in the government maybe, politics, government agency maybe 2. Something with a pro sports team. With Packers or Brew Crew would be dream job 3. Be a history teacher and a baseball coach. 4. They say the health field is big and theres money there so thats an option And with Marquette, if I go there I will try out for the club baseball team. Otherwise yeah I like to watch basketball and being in Milwaukee, there is the Brewers. Otherwise what do you guys think? I have a 3.65 GPA, 28 ACT. I'm in quite a bit of organizations. Baseball, Football. FFA Officer 3 years. Will I get into Madison?

I'm somewhat looking at Notre Dame and might just apply just to take a chance. I looked at the info for ND and it would be very tough for me to get in. And I'm not quite sure if I would want to live that far away anyways, but I'm kinda looking into it. Yeah I'm definitely looking forward to college, especially the college life. Enough of this high school stuff already. I'm trying to avoid senioritis though.

davebobn- What I would do is try to get the red ring of death however you can. What you could do is intentially overheat it. You could take some towels, wrap it around the xbox, and just burn the sucker. However after you do this it is likely to reset in the inside and it would actually work fine for a while, why its called the towel trick, but anywhere from 1-3 days later you should get the red ring of death. Do it at your own risk though http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif. The towel trick does work as a temporary fix for the red ring of death though (Ive done it a couple times), I'm not sure about actually trying to cause it though. If you want to see the towel trick just youtube xbox towel trick.

I still don't want to give up though..... I mean all it takes is probably a win tommorow and a sweep of PIT and we could be looking at a make or break series vs CHC. This really sucks. Does the CC trade now go down as a bad deal for the Crew? I say yes. It didn't accomplish what we wanted, get to the playoffs.

Been pretty busy with school and football lately but the latest: Im pretty much about done with my Madison and Marquette applications now. They say to the Madison one in as soon as possible because it can be so competitive to get in there. My English teacher right now is looking over my essays. I'll get the LAX and EC ones in later. I think next would be letters of recommendation.

I think I have given up on the season. Even though it is STILL possible if Braun and Hart decided to wake up a little. Right now I'm pretty pessimistic about next year as CC and Sheets are gone. But you figure Braun will continue to only get better. Go Packers <<<< avatar now changed too

A little bit younger fan here, I haven't experienced anything before 2000 I really get into Packer games and the team as a whole 1. 4th and 26 2. NFC Championship Game vs Giants 3. The entire Favre fiasco 4. This entire Brewers collapse 5. Pretty much every other Packer playoff loss since 2000

I never say the big deal about naming stuff after Indian tribes and such as I think the Seminoles is no different than the Spartans. Not having warriors is a joke as it applies to someone who is at war. But I have to admit, Redskins is kinda racial and could be changed As with the OKC Thunder, sounds stupid to me, maybe they could have done something with tornados. I dont follow the NBA though much anyways.

    I have to say Tatis

I watched it again and from the angle showing the runner...that is definitely not a hit

I don't have that big of an issue with the call, as I think its always a tough play for the pitcher to make and pitchers should pretty much only get errors for throws. But I'd still like to see it changed.

Scandinavia (not a country but close)

David Wright? He isn't that good. I'd take Braun over him easily. I think Braun should be top ten on that list.
