GO PACK GO! Sigh... Johnny freaking Estrada couldn't throw out a tortoise. There has got to be something physically wrong with either his shoulder or arm. Some of the throws I saw tonight were just plain pathetic. >:-( Does the coaching staff not see this? Does Yost not realize that Estrada will make the Brewers suffer immensely (assuming) in the postseason? Mike Rivera sir, bless you. I truly feel you had a boulder dropped on you when the Crew got Estrada. I saw how 'happy' you were to be in AAA ball this season. (.215 avg) Since you got the call back to the big time you've REFOUND your CENTER of happiness. I see the same Mike Rivera that was POUNDING home runs last September. Mike Rivera I hope you can start the majority of the games remaining behind the plate. I am OVERLY POSITIVE you can throw out at least one more baserunner than Estrada has in the last 3+ months!

Whoa this thread was ignored tonight? How come? sigh. Pittsburgh Pirates don't fail to rise to the occasion when the Brewers are playing meaningful games. Tonight's game was just plain embarrassing. :-( 9-0, an official baseball skunking. grrrr...... I love the Pirates. (sarcasm)

Lorenzo Cain with a RBI HBP. Sweet. 6-6 in the bottom of the 9th - Bases still loaded. Update: Gamel with game winning walk-off single - Manatee's Win 7-6. Please note that the Nashville game is viewable right now for FREE! -

Thank you everyone for your help. :-) So it looks like Stetter is going back to Nashville to help the Sounds win a PCL title. That's my guess at least for this move. Unless Cappy is going to be released. I dunno.

Could the person who originated this post please include the actual link? I visited some of my fav sites including MilwaukeeBrewers.com and there was nothing. Thanks.

Oh man, do we have to continue with Ned Yost any longer? Please tell me this has all been a really bad nightmare since the end of June someone! I am going to add on and ask why Jenkins was not up there against Dempster in the 9th????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh geez, Hart just drew a walk and showed some plate discipline. What, Mench is the new Johnny Estrada? I have to mildly agree I was somewhat annoyed that 1250 was carrying the Packers postgame package while I was driving home. However, it's probably a good thing that there was no other place to VENT than here at BFan.net. :-) I can almost see the Pirates sweeping the Brewers this weekend. :-(

Ummmmm, let's see Brewers255 just had a little tizzy fit in the VENT THREAD. It almost seemed like from the post I just viewed that he was willing to take on a negative fan here and now. Is this a bannable ( does this word seriously exist? ) offense? Just want to know seeing I was banned for a week about a month ago and it wasn't for threatening someone physically mind you. :-) Vent thread?? Negativity?? Hmmmmmmmm... Do they go together? Just asking.... By the way, Ned Yost is TOAST!

Cappy sent to bullpen... only 4 starters needed
Yaz replied to Brewcrewin07's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I guess I am just more of an old school fan. I recall the days where pitchers would get 10 Complete Games a season and you wouldn't even blink. There were plenty of pitchers in the 70's & 80's that pitched tons of innings and made it through the years without injury. Perhaps the game has changed since those days but the whole babying of starters drives me crazy. Yes, I can see your argument regarding the Marlins pitchers last year. That was just a string of really bad luck. But I really think Gallardo has a bulldog mentality and is not a weakling. heh. The bottom line is I just want to see a quality baseball team in Milwaukee. Very happy how Gallardo pitched last night. He was dealing that's for sure. -
Cappy sent to bullpen... only 4 starters needed
Yaz replied to Brewcrewin07's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Oh geez, what's with all this Gallardo pitch limit stuff? Good Lord! He is in the rotation to stay for the remainder of this season and beyond. If it takes him 7 innings an outing than so be it. SIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can see it now, the Brewers make it to the post season and Ned decides to allow Gallardo to start game 2 or 3 and after 4 innings that's it. Sorry Yovanni can't let you go any longer.. blah! -
I don't think a benching is good enough for me of late. I am actively baiting the umpires to just toss me out of the game and get a suspension. Oh wait a second, I already served one of those a few weeks back. lol! But if I have to work the positive voodoo on the Brewers I do have 2 strikes left in the count. Ok Brian I am kidding I won't post anything more off the wall.

Wow Lee gets 5 games for hitting someone. And then proceeds to appeal. Major League Baseball for whatever reason then decides they will not hear the appeal to allow the Cubs to make up lost ground in the division. And then finally after that month Lee hurts himself and decides he will just go ahead and drop the appeal and serve his time. Now Prince argues with an ump and gets 3 games. I bet the sentence won't be reduced and MLB will hear the appeal probably by the weekend. Ironic isn't it?

Hmmm - went to the game last night and left in the 7th inning. Now that I have had a chance to sleep on it I am glad I didn't post last night. I would have said some VERY CHOICE things about one Chris Capuano. But he needs to be either skipped a few times or just sent to the bullpen and take over the long relief role. This is the 2nd year in a row where he has started strong and just FADED AWAY. Unfortunately for the Brewers he started his fade a lot earlier this year. And it doesn't help this team is in a pennant race. Rickie Weeks & Billy Hall I didn't forget about the two of you either. Rickie will you EVER get another hit in MLB? Bill Hall quit spitting and acting like your God's gift to man! I want the Bill Hall back before he got his big contract. The one that played with passion and hit in the clutch. Now we are stuck with a .255 - .265 hitter with little or no power. Just a little tidbit I caught listening to radio last night - Our 1 to 3 starters over the last 6 weeks have not registered a win. Too bad Mark A. & Doug M. think we are ok down the stretch. Time to start looking around and finding some players before Sept 1st.

Was the Suppan signing Melvin's biggest mistake?
Yaz replied to adambr2's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I agree with you Adam, the Brewers overpaid Suppan. It's just the state of the game. I just don't understand why Major League teams are giving this kind of money to players like this. But hey back at the time the move happened it seemed ok with me. Thought perhaps the Brewers found a pitcher who was finally hitting his stride. He seemed more determined out on the mound Tuesday night. I think he is starting to feel the pressure. Furthermore, didn't he shut down the Mets in the NLCS last year? So that might explain the temporary improvement in his pitching. Dunno I am just as disgusted as you are about Suppan. sigh.. -
What's up with this crap? No we're all Brewers fans. Again you've been told this several times if you don't like the vent thread don't read it and let us vent. Stow the tude. Amen - if you're here to ANALYZE a vent then give it up already. Go start another thread and do your analysis there. I don't hate the Brewers. And I am sure the MAJORITY of those who are venting don't either. We come to this thread to complain because we expect this TEAM to do better. 25 years of waiting is hard! I am almost 40 years old and have LOTS of room to vent. If you're a 20 something you just don't get it. But more power to you as you are a Brewer fan. A true fan will LOVE AND HATE their team. Heck I consider the Packers my wife sometimes and I love to hate them at times. :-) Go away if you're just here to argue with us fans who are sick of watching obvious problems. HARUMPH!!!!

AHHHHH!!!! Let all the apologists on this board SUFFER!!! This was coming and it finally happened. The Cubs are in first place. :-( Secondly, I discovered YUKU doesn't agree with my browser of choice Netscape 7.2. Security wise, NS 7.2 put IE x.xx to shame. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif-( Can you look into the browser support issue Brian? Thanks. Sigh out of first place for the first time in over 3 months. :-( Regarding the game itself, I know this was probably mentioned, (BUT I WAS IN A SPORTS BAR WATCHING THE GAME) but why was Manny Parra batting for himself in the 6th inning with a runner on base?
