    I'd like another hit from sheets, more JJ action, and a confidently close game to get Turnbow a hold. I could really use one to maintain my stranglehold on my fantasy league.

    i see what you're saying now. there's only so much room that CSS sheets are built for. I prefer everything between 8pt - 10pt font with 1024x780 desktop sizes, so i don't run into that problem too often...and that's probably why i need a new eye prescription.

    Web pages with tiny fonts, especially web pages with tiny fonts that can't be adjusted 'up' gracefully. does that mean pressing CTRL and scrolling up or down with your mouse doesn't doesn't change the size of the fonts? - I'm bothered by the fact i have to go to the eye doctor soon to get a new prescription.

    I agree with TC: it's a 4 run game and we got to the 8th...use the bullpen the way it was designed to function. All it takes is a fluke play to let the Cards back in this game.

    watched the 9th inning of the cubs/pirates game over my lunchbreak. Dempster threw about a hundred pitches to close it out. I bet they don't use him in the 2nd game. Although it's his second season at the desk, seeing Dan Plesac on the post game show in chicago is still wierd to me. Informal poll: Dan Plesac > Davey Nelson?

    glad i snatched those tickets tonight.... Prince fights the hand of god (the wind) for two basket homers, Turnbow got ready during 3 consecutive innings and didn't look tired at all. Villanueva pitches 4 strong after getting a stern lecture after that 4 pitch walk and a bunch of fans high on the 3rd base side were successfully getting under everybody's nerves with their 'let's go brewers' chant...and did anybody see the fans in the RF bleachers get tossed for throwing food at Gross after what looked to be a hilarious exchange? Classic wrigley fan action... hopefully estrada's injury isn't too serious...

    endaround: can you (re-re-re)re-post the link to the scenario percentage calculator? I lost it after last season. now hoping sheets has a long start tomorrow.... edit: nevermind. I was thinking about the (non-live) calculator where you input the current scenario and it tells you the trends

    i'm out of market, so I'm getting the Marlins feed. They just said a fews guys in the Marlins bullpen aren't available, so they're looking for a 7 inning game from Sanchez....i'm only saying this so I can jinx them. suppan settles down...
