You could say that. Even if not for his slump, no reason to start Schoop against an LHP. He's a reverse splits guy for his whole career. Didn't realize that. Then I dont really see a need for him on this team. I didnt care for the trade anyways, but even more so now.

A year after I graduated college my gf and I went back to campus for homecoming. The night before I had a dream about a girl I had a thing with my freshman year of college. The night of homecoming we called a taxi to pick us up from the bar. I got in the backseat and the next person that got in after my group of friends was that girl I had a dream about. Sat right next to me. I hadn't even thought about her for like 3 years prior to that night...weird stuff

So because we're winning we can't acknowledge that our offense has looked putrid against average at best pitching? If we advance, whoever we play will have a batter offense and better pitching. Ya, I'm excited to (probably) be moving on but there are lots of red flags in the batters box. I'd consider Oberg, Ottavino, and Marquez above average.

Aren't you supposed to run on contact with 2 outs? No one in the infield was getting that ball. You wait for the ball to pass and then go. Most players do it..not try to hurdle it. On rewind it looks like 2b did have a play on it, but I could be wrong.

Right. Obviously a bad 2 strike swing, but it doesnt come to that if he isnt screwed on 2-1.

I'd imagine the odds of that dont improve much. What a terrible 2-1 call on Braun. This ump is awful.

Righties have a .467 OPS against Ottavino this year. They basically become pitchers against him. Sometimes it just doesn't work out. Ah. Gotcha. I missed that. I just prefer when Baez has to hit fastballs as opposed to sliders/cutters. -

I've used them. If you're looking to get out of there quickly, a shuttle is not the way to go unless you plan to rush over to the pickup spot as soon as the game is over (while frantically searching for exactly where your shuttle might be amongst the 50+ lined up at the pickup spot) I've found myself, more and more often, parking on Wisconsin/Wells and walking down to the stadium. 20 minute walk. No hassle leaving. I know Baldkin has had trouble, but my wife and I take Steve's and it's in and out sperm easy. They have gates up for lines now. We havent waited longer than 5 minutes and have done it 5 times in the last 2 months and we start until the final pitch every time.

I'm also annoyed they havent announced it yet. 30k plus have to make plans.

I'm annoyed as well. I wont be able to use my Thursday tickets at 3pm. Hopefully find some for Friday.
