I am pretty sure there were shifts. Someone posted a picture once against...someone from the Yankees I think. Can't remember who exactly. Your overall point is right on though.

It's a great question. I wonder every time. That's essentially what Minnesota did and it stopped the Badgers from putting the finishing touches on that comeback earlier in the year. They set up their defense to make it 1 on 1 against Happ. The Badgers would(as they should) get him the ball. The defender would then reach immediately. Happ went like 1 for 9 from the line that game.

It sounds crazy for sure, but it does happen. Last year I was driving a school vehicle around Madison and I didnt realize that the lights didn't turn on. It was so lit up that I didnt realize that all I had clicked over was the fog lights. I finally realized when I went under a bridge. Fortunately I drive like a grandpa, so I was extra cautious.

This is how the HH situation got started and spiraled. Fun to speculate, but probably shouldn't take it any further than this. I suppose, if this deal was in fact true, is it something Brewer Fans would like?

According to Webster 12pm is noon. I've always been told that as well. In fact I would argue that is correct. PM is post midday, and 12:00:01 is just that.

I used to be a huge South Park fan and to me it's really tailed off the last few years to the point where I haven't even watched the series finale yet. Although I enjoy the satire, at some point it feels like they started trying too hard to constantly be making points rather than just being funny. I still enioy Family Guy quite a bit, to me that's aged better. I thought this season was better than seasons past. They went back more to the roots of their satire and just had funny episodes instead of this huge drawn out season.

That's awesome! The feeling of relief when I got mine paid off was incredible. I was fortunate enough to get some of mine paid off for working in a low income school, so that helped. I also paid of my credit card debt from college and that felt amazing too. Only debt I have is my house.

I have a part of my driveway like that, and I have a pregnant wife, so I was hitting it with the ice pick thingy yesterday. Of course it's the way it is because we had to drive over it for wedding stuff on New Years Eve...grr.

Missed their last 6 free throws(at least 6), and had 2 turnovers down 2 and then down 4 with the ball.

I hope he still has legs. He looked run down and awful last year. That said, I wouldn't mind a one year deal on him or any other 2nd baseman really.

Yeah, makes you wonder if 4 teams is too many. At least Alabama vs Clemson IV should be pretty good. Also, while everyone else was playing a conference championship game, Notre essentially received a bye to the CFP. I hate that. I agree on ND. The Bama and Oklahoma game was entertaining. Ohio State looked pretty good and Texas looked solid in their win against Georgia. The same Georgia team that could have(should have?) beaten Alabama. Interesting.

I'm not sure anyone here is calling for less bowl games. Some(most?) are calling for more playoff games is all. Look at the WV Cuse game. 2 top 20 teams and the top player sat out. Was that enjoyable for WV fans? Perhaps, but their qb play was pathetic. Also, it was pretty evident that one team in the Bucky Miami game didnt really care to be there.

Since skipping the bowl is now commonplace so I would expect players to start bailing sooner. Leaving in October or early November after elimination from the playoff (2-3 losses) might be a smart move. Now that is a valid concern.

I saw Saban isnt in favor of expanding the playoff to 8. His reasoning is that players will skip bowl games to go to the NFL. I'm pretty sure that is already happening...isnt it? Badgers dominating, but have missed an opportunity for points on 4? Straight drives.

I understand and respect the health reason, however, I'd argue that for 'some' it is a health reason. Anxiety, stress, depression, etc is all real and affects the health of others.

This is simply not true. I had many, many friends who stressed over finals who did a lot of work throughout. My wife, for example, stressed over finals and she spent more time on coursework than anyone I've seen. I had one class that had 30% grade on midterm and 70% on final. If others had something similar I could absolutely see them getting worked up.

I guess I'm curious why anyone cares? So someone has a dog with them because it makes them feel better. Big deal. As you said, there are a lot of different things they could be trying that are illegal or harmful to the body. Everyone is different and people cope with things differently, who am I to raise a stink over it. On top of that, I am wondering how someone else with a dog is bothering you? Is it making noise or making a mess? I could see that being frustrating. But if it's just sitting there and being calm...why be upset?

When my dog passed a lady I have a good relationship but nothing more came and gave me a hug. Made me feel good and it wasn't something I forgot.
