    I kept hearing the announcers say, “His helmet is as his shoulder pads, too close to the head.” They are all roughly the same height! How do you get your helmet lower than his shoulders?! I mean come on. They are throwing flags on things that are literally impossible to prevent. I'm looking forward to when a defender just picks a QB up and hold him in the air for 3 seconds or whatever. A really good look for the league. The XFL or whatever it's called may actually get more views than I anticipated.

    Just watched the video of Matthews tackle today. The NFL is a joke. I have not watched a single second besides the Matthew's sack and the Payne sack earlier. How Matthews gets flagged, but not Payne when he spun Rodgers to the ground is simply embarrassing for the league.

    One thing these guys should/could be advocating for is the DH in the NL. At least that way some of these guys would get a day where they are off their feet and possibly feel less wear on their body.

    The pitch to Dixon looked pretty good. Too bad. Anderson was not sharp today and wasnt getting any help either.

    If nothing else, it is forcing them to continue to pitch their starters and not have an opportunity to set up their pitching staff. Up to this point anyways.

    NFL says that it was a perfect example of scoop and pull...wow. Cousins jumps in the air and that is probably the least dangerous tackle you're going to see. Its shocking to me that the NFL is content to create a game without acknowledging that the game is going to have contact and force between two humans. If that is truly a penalty in their eyes then the league is doomed. I've basically tuned out NFL and use it for fantasy football and social situations with friends. I dont really care much about it.

    I am surprised you think this. What was it about that tackle that makes it a penalty? He didn't lift him in the air and when he came down he came down off to the side and rolled off immediately. I am curious what you see differently.

    I am not a Packer fan, so maybe(probably not) my opinion does or doesn't matter to some. I watched the replay of the Matthews hit and I am amazed that was called. Might as well put flags on the QBs at this point.

    Yep. Missed his spot too, so that sucked. Cant expect to keep Bryant off the bases forever. Hes starting to heat up.
