When he misses he seems to miss badly, so if hes getting a tight zone or not getting the swings and misses he tends to struggle mightily. As you would imagine.

I prefer to have JJ available to pitch high leverage situations. I mean. Knebel had the 7, 8, and 9 guys. If we can't trust him to get those guys out...then maybe he shouldn't be trusted anytime with a lead. I had hoped he would keep JJ in, but I thought going with Knebel there was okay. Gotta assume hes not going to walk all 3 of those guys...right? Or maybe not.

I realize it is an incredibly small sample, but I am not a fan of the Schoop trade. Looks out of it and I wasnt really excited by his 270 OBP this year. Hopefully he turns it around.

It concerns me that he doesnt take walks and hasn't had a great year, but hopefully he can put up closer to 2017 numbers. Swung at ball 3 and 4 against a guy struggling to find the zone...

One bad half season doesn't turn a good/great player into a bad player. He was in the MVP discussions last year. Plus, he's heated up lately. He did have a great year last year, but was pretty pedestrian the year before last. Of course he is getting older, but I'm not as excited as others appear to be.
