Because Shaw can't hit lefties and he was coming out for defense anyway...... Still 6 outs to get in a one run game...to me that's not worth burning shaw and a bench spot there. He just hit a HR last at bat. That's valid. At this point it appears CC is valuing defense with only 6...now 3 outs to go.

Schedule: the schedule is no doubt tougher this year, and as other pointed out Alabama's schedule last year was sub-par and they had no issues. Also, didnt they have an incredibly.tough non conference schedule like 3 straight years? Cephus: I have no idea what happened or what anyone's intentions were, but these stories are always awful. I know many girls...and guys who woke up after a night out and had no idea what happened the night before. Part of my message got cut off. - people need to be aware of their situations...easier said than done.

Similar to last year, and a few years before that. You just cant expect to trot out subpar players and expect above average results over the course of the entire season. Not sure you can say they have subpar players. Yes, some are, but they also have a lot of talent. Subpar starting pitching for sure. All of us knew that was going to catch up to the team in the end. I wasnt saying all of them are subpar. Pitching staff was what I was referring to, as well as the middle infield.
