    I was listening to it on the radio and they made is seem like Wally chose to focus on TnF. I have none of the details so I have no idea what is what, but that's what the radio said this morning.

Those comments wouldn't be worthy of a suspension in my mind, although things related to university life are much different than the rest of society. And comments that stereotype any ethnicity (or anything else for that matter) are very poor choices. We are in the midst of a pretty PC society. This looks to be like one group of people trying to get out in front, while the other is simply making an observation based on personal experience. Seems to happen often these days.

    His pitch f/x had him average 91.9 last year. This year it's at 90.1. Last year his max speed was 95ish and low speed of 88ish.

    You are right. His velocity is down about 2 miles per hour to start the year. Sometimes that can be attributed to the beginning of the year. If it continues into May it could be a problem. The curve looks to be more of an issue right now.

    I read an article about Trever Bauer that mentioned most of those pitchers throw harder if they want. Of course it's using a crow hop.

    I have already gone to more games this year than last year. This team is just more fun to watch even if they lose. They take pitches and wait to try and drive something, and the young players are enjoyable to cheer for. Taking in another game Saturday and I can't wait.

    Yea, the 14 yr old girl that played catch with him between innings and had a better arm. His ops+ is 8 right now...8!. I know it's early, but wow.

    I have taken the over on all of Wily's games. Seems to be a solid choice early.

    I've been most disappointed by the team defense. It has been awful and no one can seem to make a tough play.

    Oh stop. No kidding it is but Maldonado has no issues. Luc has bad fundamentals when throwing and teams know it. Umm, okay. Maldy is a better defender. Luc is probably average throwing runners out, but Maldy is better.

    Not only that...but I would not be happy one bit if I planned a day/night and it got rained out. Thankfully we dont have that issue.

    Gallardo threw 89 pitches today...none faster than 90 mph.

    That was rookie manager stuff. With our bench not sure what he was trying to accomplish other than to give Kirk and Flores some RBI ABs I'd like to think he decided to try and use most guys in this game because they were so inexperienced. Might as well get them into the game since we were down 4 or more at the time. I hope that was his thought anyway.
