  1. Lol...a ball Segura should have made...then another awful throw. This teams fundamentals is just absurd.
  2. What a weird couple of days for FIFA.
  3. Appears he has.
  4. Missed home plate? How do you even make that a close call Davis?
  5. Not sure for a fact, but I thought if you try to remove the ball then it is considered in play and not a ground rule double.
  6. It's pretty absurd that Braun's only extra base hits are home runs. Let that sink in for a moment. 0 doubles, 0 triples. Just Singles and home runs. Unless of course I looked at his stats incorrectly.
  7. Someone just posted that Mark said he is open to a rebuild if that is what it takes. It is Melvin that appears to not want to take that route.
  8. Tough pitch on Scooter. Looked outside, but it would be nice to try to protect on that.
  9. What is happening to this site? The amount of rude posts appears to have tripled with a snap of a finger. Wow.
  10. Source?? Popped up quick on my scoremobile app. Sorry, didn't have time to read into it.
  11. Just got an update, that says the Brewers will not trade Lucroy.
  12. I went to a monday night game a few weeks ago and it was the same thing then. No one there but then attendance was still 27k. I was surprised.
  13. I agree and mentioned this slightly in my last few sentences above.
  14. There are usually 2-4 teams every year that are at least 9 game out of a playoffs spot come May 1st. If the deals were really that much better these kind of early trades would be happening. Clearly it isn't ever worth the extra loses and lost revenue. I am not sure if the deals are any better, but I was just commenting on why we probably dont see them often. I assume most teams feel they have a chance to compete for a playoff spot until June or July and thats why we dont see them often. I also wouldn't say it 'clearly isnt worth the revenue.' I am not sure there have been enough of these types of trades to judge if it's worth it or not. I am sure they will probably just let teams know that guys are available. Maybe most teams wait to make trades because they dont want to risk losing prospects and then have their own guys get hurt/fall of the map. These crummy teams may be trying to shop guys but other teams arent sure if they are truly in the playoff chase or not. I am not sure of the reason, but I was just trying to point out why it may not happen.
  15. By selling earlier, the team who receives our player get more starts, more at bats, more innings pitched, essentially more wins (or WAR). Because of this, the Brewers could and should be able to demand more of a return. Also gives them leverage to wait if they aren't getting a worthy offer as the deadline isn't forcing their feet to the fire. Hypothetically this is true...realistically I don't know if it really works this way. If it did I think a lot of teams would sell early, but almost nothing happens before mid July. Even the Cubs and Astros the past couple years waited till the end. Without looking back, I assume the Cubs and Stros' didnt start the season at 4-18 and become 10 games back of a playoff spot before the end of April.
  16. I dont watch a lot of NBA basketball because I just dont enjoy it, but I did watch this game instead of the Brewers last night and I found myself rooting and cheering for them. They are an exciting group and got a non fan to enjoy the game and start looking towards game 6. I also found myself looking up Bucks apparel...which was shocking. Hopefully they can push it to 7, but it was an entertaining game last night.
  17. I know Chapman is tough, but these last two at bats were surely fitting.
  18. Someone posted on page 1 that Ron was happy with what schafer and Parra did yesterday, or something.
  19. Yep. The Crew has a boatload of divisional games to start the year, except for that Rockies series it'll be central games only...which makes the losing even worse.
  20. Yep. I said the same thing about both MA and Ron. Unbelievable that he went with K-rod that inning.
