  1. Nice work! Weight loss takes commitment, congrats! Hopper, sounds like we were in a similar place. Hit my goal weight this week. Took me a year and 3 months, but I went from 230 to 175. Haven't been at this weight since college, and that was almost 40 years ago. Waist from 38 to 32. Neighbor asked my daughter if I had been sick, so I think that means I'm doing something right? Intermittent Fasting 16/8, running or Orangetheory six days a week, counting calories, and here's the most impactful: I haven't had sugar since January. Now, the tough part: maintenance. I got down to 195 last year, took a tumble and hurt myself running in October, and in what seemed like a flash, was back up to 213 in January. Am very not bugged about where I am now. Summer has been tough for me! I'm still at 196ish, but I have been finding it harder to get out and about watching two kids every day and have found myself snacking more often, but I've done a pretty good job staying away from sugar and I havent been putting on weight. I had a goal of 180 by september, but I dont think I'll hit that unless I really buckle down. I think the other part is I have felt so good that it doesnt make me feel like I need to keep losing weight. My weight is always kind of weird because I have a pretty athletic/thick lower half from my hockey days, so sometimes that can be deceiving. I can see my chin like again and I dont hurt after running, so those are two plusses.
  2. If nothing else, it took a potential chance for Yelich to get an at bat, and if they walk him, then Garcia. Just dumb all around.
  3. Nope. I think it was more his hand hitting the shin guard or something.
  4. Garbage early 2nd foul on Middleton.
  5. I think its regular season winning percentage. Edit: actually I think it goes to the side they had the all star game MVP.
  6. True, didnt really have his feet under him. Would have been a hit in another situation where they didnt have 2 outfielders. Ha
  7. It's really .190 versus lefties and .156 versus lefties. But your point is still valid, there isn't any real upside going to Pina. This. Narvaez has been one of(the most) consistent hitters this year and you put him down for Pina? Odd.
  8. Chipped my front tooth last night. Got it fixed today...but it feels funny. Oh yea, the tooth died too. Ugh.
  9. Godley had at least a few similarities to Pomeranz, it wasn’t crazy to give him a chance to revive his career in the bullpen Eh, I will just disagree with that. Again, I realize Godley has thrown very few innings with the Brewers too, but he didnt look great in his first start either. I also realize the path Cousins has taken.
  10. https://madison.com/sports/college/basketball/men/wisconsin-men-s-basketball-seniors-confronted-greg-gard-in-secretly-recorded-meeting-here-s-what/article_bf1afb44-c2fe-5983-86fb-4c107e776e15.amp.html?__twitter_impression=true Hard to come back from this I feel like. No surprise to see so much sore play.
  11. I realize it was one game, but it always frustrates me when guys like Godley are getting innings instead of guys like this. Sometimes it's nice to give other guys a look...especially the last arm or 2 in the pen.
  12. Yea, I'm with Outlander on that one. At least they didnt leave it in the lot. I've expressed my dismay with a handful of strangers when I see that happen in the local lots.
  13. I agree, just saying that he hasnt been pathetic and there are surely worse options. I'd prefer Adames, but I'm not going to complain about Vogelbach. I will say that I do like his 2 strike approach too.
  14. I don’t get this batting order. If you have Wong, Adames, and Urias available, why put a slow, bases clogger like Vogelbach second? I would think something like Urias second with Vogelbach seventh would make more sense. With nobody resting, I would go: Wong, Urias, Yelich, Garcia, Narvaez, Adames, Vogelbach, Bradley, Pitcher, or something similar. Without looking, I'm pretty sure hes had a solid OBP lately and has had good at bats.
