  1. Baez will move. He said he wanted to play with Lindor.
  2. Drowning is probably my biggest fear. I'm not a strong swimmer and I rarely let my kids near water. My mom has a pool and I've told her kids are not allowed near ut... and yet I'm terrified when they are there.
  3. Biles backed out because of the mental part of it. Said she didnt want her lack of focus to hurt the team.
  4. Hopefully that stays the case! The wife is worried about tomorrows game. Out of our control now.
  5. Will be very disappointed if this game does not get played...seeing as I flew out to catch today and tomorrows game.
  6. I thought the wings were kinda dorky, but I guess those statues have them and they look just like the ones on the logo. So that's kinda neat.
  7. Pretty normal from what has happened with me. Then it stopped once I was down 20. Then after a week or so it kicked back up again. When I went to Nashville for a weekend I stopped fasting and didnt worry about what I ate and put on 8ish pounds( a lot of beer too). I did one 24 hour fast and lost 7 pounds.
  8. Again, defense should have made both of those plays but what about the double to right? Or the single to center by Dozier? Those were smoked. and Santana hit his hard as well. One of the outs was an absolute meatball down the center of the plate that Suter got away with to Perez for a flyout. It works the other way, too. Suter didn't look good, and the poor defense exasperated it. I'm not saying Suter was top notch today, but he should have been out of that inning with no runs allowed.

  10. Cant give a major league team 5 outs in an inning. Not sure that is Suters fault. He gave up 4 hits this inning. He didn't get much help, but I'm not going to make excuses for a guy who gave up 4 hits and a lot of hard contact in 1 inning. Should have been out of the inning after 2 hits. Also, the 'hit' on the ball to Wong was debatable.
  11. Cant give a major league team 5 outs in an inning. Not sure that is Suters fault. It wasn't exactly soft contact. he was hit fairly hard. but yes, the defense should have gotten out of that with only a run scored. I would not consider either groundball that was booted hard hit.

  13. Good luck. Gum and water are always my go to when I'm feeling the need to eat.
  14. I have noticed a number of news and opinion writers drawing attention to the problem of men in our society not having social connections. It leads to poor health outcomes, despair, drug and alcohol abuse, etc. So you're right to seek out social connections. We all are, really. This past year, when many of us were even more isolated, it made life that much more difficult. A generation or more ago, there were social and service clubs, community softball teams, bowling leagues, etc. Church attendance was higher, etc. We do better when we are in groups. This is interesting. I always tell my wife that I need guy time and when I talk with friends they mention similar thoughts. I probably overdo it with hockey, softball, and darts, but it does get depressing during the months I have nothing going on.
  15. Right on! I thought he was older and was on the last year.
  16. I also didn't realize he has 2 more years on his deal and a cheap price. I assumed he was a half year rental, but I do overvalue prospects which is hard for me to get away from!
  17. Someone proposed a Ramirez for Hiura, Perez, Faliciano, and Zamora trade to which the talking heads agreed was a good trade. Am I wrong in thinking this is too much? Am I overvaluing our prospects?
  18. I was wondering this too, but I just assumed there was some other rule change I hadnt heard about.
