  4. Re: bunting As plush pointed out, bunting is hard to do, let alone aim it. I've seen a few slow base runners bunt and actually bunt it pretty well and still get thrown out by a fielding pitcher. I have a friend who won a national championship with Whitewater who hit middle of the order. He talks all the time about how hard it is to A make solid contact and B bunt it well enough for a hit. Also due to pitchers pitching inside and high.
  5. I'd be curious to see the catch probability on Moose's fly ball too. It seemed to hang up there a bit. Almost seemed like the RFer may have not really seen it. EDIT: Saw it again, just right between the OFers. No chance catching that. Yea, I didnt rewatch it, but Moose left the box slow almost like he thought it was a can of corn and it just seemed like no one went after it.

  7. I see this often. What frontline starter was available that Stearns refused to go after?
  8. I know the game isnt over, but I'm going to be done watching for the night. This game has been too frustrating.
  9. If I'm Fowler, I dont even swing. Most likely not a strike on 3-2. /blue
  10. I agree with others here. Would have been a good time for Albers.
  11. I mean, Guerra continues to get high leverage spots. Itd be nice if he can somehow wiggle out of this...
  12. I would love to see the Brewers take a hbp on a ball that doesnt look like it should hit him. Ha.
  13. Bader is really good defensively, so I'm not sure it's bad luck. Maybe bad luck that he just got recalled today!
  14. Could say that about 10 different things. Some choose to complain about umps, others Stearns, others about too many lineups. In game threads are meant to complain and cheer, no?
  15. This team seems to miss more middle middle fastballs than anyone.
  16. The pitches to Fowler were a bit further out, but yes, it has been frustrating.
