I agree, he does seem to be seeing the ball a little better and had 2 'line drives' today. I agree though.

Glad this one wasnt over in the 2nd or whatever inning. This team can bang with the best of em. Still tough to pull this one out.

Burnes was the pitcher I was least concerned about. I think I was mistaken.

The amount of effort is probably the same in actuality. I generally felt similar after a hockey game as I did when I played open basketball for about an hour, and I played open basketball with 100% effort since I was terrible and knew my only positives for my team would be defense and running around. I am biased though, since I have played hockey for 28 of my 33 years.

I'd guess Braun gets the start tonight and bats 3rd. In a very limited sample he has hit Flaherty well. Couple of homers and a .500+ BA.

Is that all? I thought more. There's a rumbling around Card Nation that Molina is not setting up to best pitch to Yelich. I don't know about that, but I have to wonder why Shildt pitches to the man at all. IS THERE NO POINT where you say "I give up, walk the guy"? FYI Lyons, who replaced Bader (ham string) threw his shoulder out last night on that horrendous throw from CF. I don't know WHO will man center tonite, possibly rookie Drew Robinson who seemed afraid to swing his bat last night. Wasn't it Tyler O'Neill that was out there last night? I would be surprised if Yelich gets much to hit unless the guys behind him start doing something(anything).

Is this supposed to be in blue? Are you really inferring that basketball players don't exert that much energy during a game? Somewhat blue. Just hard to watch NBA guys even in playoffs lollygag up and down the court. Hockey games are on if you want to see constant hustle.
