Great .... now this ump is acting like an angry child. Mad at Gomez for calling time, so the next two are automatic strikes? He did that an inning ago to the Padres......Funny, but frustrating Just do your job and be fair -
I like that zone for Doug D ...... heck I like that zone for any of our pitchers right now Weekes strikes out way too much lately. Its getting bad

As a huge fan of baseball and high school coach. (although I myself was never a pitcher)......watching Dougie D throw.....does anyone else think that is overly-slowed delivery actually takes MPH off of his pitching? It blows my mind how well he can do with it.....its quite unusual and his balance is very good for what he is doing. Thoughts?

And then runs as fast as he can to first......ugh.......that guy must be a great "clubhouse guy" because I just dont see it.

Gotta love a Wisconsin kid, a Badger, kicking some in the pros! More Badgers in the same game! Heatley scores, now Rafalski scores. What a night for badgers!

Awesome! I never, ever, ever, after seeing Bogut going down would have given this team a chance. And now they are up 3-2. I am so happy and excited for these guys.....they play hard and they never give up. I found myself going nuts at the end! Keep it up boys! -

To add to that thought....how long until they win a bunch more for the under-age girls that China threw out there in the last Summer Olympics? I am surprised it takes the IOC 8 years to finally find stuff like this out!

Was Marc Davis the guy who hated George Karl so much? Bavetta is a known "NBA guy." Edit - As I watch Bavetta call a block on Delfino a step and a half before contact, show it up, and then blow the whistle. And One...... Gotta love NBA officials..... One other observation as I watch this game.......Atlanta's fans are pretty quiet most of the time. I thought that place would be nuts after seeing their team lose two in a row to the Bucks.....but that really has not been the case so far. -
On TV they said he did not slow at all, was going 100% the entire way. Its a bang-bang play to get that to work, and with the first baseman daydreaming a bit, it almost worked. But McGehee is slow.

Who screwed that one up? Slow-running McGehee or Brad Fischer? I see that play working with a fast runner, but basically suicide with a slow runner. He was clearly out on the tag, and the first baseman took his time throwing it. Ugh

Wow....they just said Gomez is 6'3", 215. Thats a pretty big dude that can run. Just imagine if he can put it all together for the crew.....then again......if he doesent.....well we have all seen players with the tools not pan out.

He sure looked good last night in his win. I am glad for the Twins for sticking with him, hopefully he stays healthy. A bunch of guys commented at the bar I was at that he looked like he put on some size......not sure of that, but his stuff was nasty. -

Damn.....just got home from coaching, feeling good, saw the Prince bomb. All I can say is Damn....

A lot of guys who have been pretty quiet lately have had nice games tonight.....good to see the prince get 3 hits. If we have a few come out of their slumps (Zaun, Prince, Gomez?) this team could be pretty good. Again, though, we need our pitching to keep us in games. Tonight is a nice win.
