Good inning already. Pile it on while we can! -
Braun = Bomb Can we somehow get Yo his win now?
-
If Macha wanted to light a fire, a major lineup change like Gamel every day or any other catcher every day could help I sure hope Yo gets a run or two today.......his season has really been a bummer with the run support. Reminds me a lot of a few years Sheets had where his era and stats were good, yet his win/loss record was not good
-
Brian and Bill have been funny lately.....being overly excited for the return of Suppan and Bush, talking about how good Kendall is....... they need to know that the fans who watch day in and day out dont buy the excuses! I wish they would get back to calling the game like it is, not filling us with excuses. Braun frustrated, as I could hear is F-bomb clearly on that pop-up

Lopez does things like that and it pisses you off as a fan. The guy could be pretty good if he gave full effort. Yo did much better against Zimmerman and Dunn the second time around (2 K's) It would be nice to kill this day game curse!
-
Kendall struggling early.....that guy is not helping his fan base on BF.net lately
-
Pitch count has been his problem all year. He really didnt go after Zimmerman or Dunn, walking them both. That was disappointing. It would be nice to have someone have a huge day today
-
I thought the same thing. An Escobar signed bat or Braun bat would have been a good demand. Our bullpen......god I dont think you could sell that!
-
Berman's nickname act has gotten old. Joe Morgan has a great ability to find the worst in everyone he is mad at. Good Post

I agree with a lot of you.....woodmans or wal mart for soda and chips, never for produce or meat.

The Real Casey McGehee?

That is exactly what I was wondering in the first response to this post. Reguardless of if he is doing better/worse than projected, I am interested to see what he could do in a full season healthy. Gamel will be a stud. Give him time -
My vote would be for Lou Gehrig. Great Topic TLB. Great Discussions so far!
-
Great Call. Phil Simms is so bad, I begin to wonder if his concussions have caused him to forget the fact that he once played football.
-
Who do you feel is the worst grouping of people to cover professional sports? I will start. Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Pam Oliver. I cannot tell you who is the best of the three, because they are all terrible. Uuggghhhh!

I really hope Prince didnt hurt himself......He looks ok but who knows
-
I second that.....a great night for him!

Great play by McGehee!

The Real Casey McGehee?

They sure make it sound as though his knee is bad and his opposite ankle has been giving him trouble. I would be curious to see how he would do when healthy and given 400 at bats -
Anyone else scared by the fact that Macha is not at all worried about Suppan getting rocked during his rehab in the minors?
-
Looper has got to be the best ever at serving up bombs......wow Great recovery in the second inning though
-
Prince is a stud

Steve Stone quote; need help understanding what it means

I agree with Jwill Or he could have said that coaching teams with huge payrolls is a good way to make sure one is judged as a good coach.......... -
We were spoiled by the playoffs.......but I agree, I am going to miss baseball from the moment it ends this year!
-
Does anyone know how the Crew can try to help Yo keep his pitch count down without serving up the longball like the rest of the staff? Where the rest of the starters begin to lose it in the 5th, this is not the case with Yo. He instead has over 100 pitches quite often by that point........ The kid is good, and I agree at some point they may want to protect him!

Another great Burger in Madison is at the Great Dane....they have one with a burger, a bratburger, bacon, cheese on a pretzel bun. Very tasty - I just cant remember the name
