    Pizza

Mmm, haven't had Buck's in 30 years. Pizza Oven has recently closed. Is Buck's pizza the same as Buck's Bar?

    Pizza

Especially the Steve's in the 70's and 80's. I dream of that pizza!
  3. Currently rotating between Season 4 of Coach, Season 4 of WKRP in Cincinatti (the final season), and Frasier, season 7. WKRP is one of my favorites of all time. Coach is sometimes just silly, but entertaining. Frasier is classic tv.
  4. An under-rated show that I never see re-runs of, or hear anyone talk about is Rules of Engagement. Absolutely love the first 4 seasons of that show. Never been a big David Spade fan, but his character is just hilarious in a Charlie Sheen 2 1/2 men kind of way. Every one of the 6 main characters are perfect for the parts they play, and I LOL 2 or 3 times every single episode.
  5. I'm only watching the last season without Spacey to wrap it up. I just need to know how it ends after investing so much time to that point...
  6. Totally agree. I literally laugh out loud in every episode. Red and Fez are the 2 guys that make the show in my opinion, however, every character has a huge role in the humor.
  7. I've been binge watching all the seasons of That 70's Show the past couple months. LOVE the show, but the last season without Eric and Kelso blew butt!
  8. Finally finishing up the last season of HOUSE of CARDS. Not very impressive 5 episodes in. I feel like this series is going out with a wimper. The Spacey situation really ruined the series imo.
  9. Stopped watching that when they killed more humans than zombies. It really just got boring at that point. Then when Rick and Carl went? Yeah, felt they were integral parts of the show. I always figured I would go back and watch it on Netflix until they went. Rick didn't go, he's alive, just not on the show. He'll be back at some point, maybe the final season...
  10. I'm in the final season of Black Sails (season 4) and holy crap is it just brutally violent.. Love the series, can't wait to see how it ends up...
  11. Not sure if anyone is still watching, or cares, but I can't wait for the new season of Walking Dead!
  12. I’m not really an Alex Baldwin fan either (nor a qualified judge of talent), but he absolutely crushed this role. You and I seem to have similar tastes in television (The Goldbergs, am I right?). I think you’d dig 30 Rock if you gave it a try. Yup, I'm a Goldbergs guy for sure!
  13. I feel like when I was in middle school circa the early 90s that The Simpsons, In Living Color, Married With Children & one more, maybe Herman's Head?, were all on Fox Sunday nights. Simpsons and Married with Children were a Sunday nights staple for me in 89, 90 and 91ish.
  14. This is on my "to do" list as well. Everyone who I have ever talked to has loved it! I suggest "The Shield and NYPD Blue" as well if you haven't seen them yet. NYPD Blue is one of my all time favorites.
  15. Loved that night as well, minus 30 Rock, I always skipped that one. I find Alec Baldwin to be a total douche, and can't watch him. The show might be good, but I can't get past him, so I'll never know.
  16. I wanted to take a look at this, and sorted by wrc+ and also by wOBA wRC+ : 2011 Ryan Braun 171 2019 Christian Yelich 170 2018 Christian Yelich 166 1987 Paul Molitor 165 1979 Sixto Lezcano 165 1982 Robin Yount 164 2009 Prince Fielder 161 2011 Prince Fielder 160 2012 Ryan Braun 159 1978 Larry Hisle 156 wOBA: -------- 2019 Christian Yelich .437 1987 Paul Molitor .433 1979 Sixto Lezcano .428 2011 Ryan Braun .426 2009 Prince Fielder .422 2018 Christian Yelich .422 2007 Prince Fielder .419 1982 Robin Yount .415 2012 Ryan Braun .413 2011 Prince Fielder .410 Ahhhhhhh, Sixto, my favorite player as a middle schooler...

    New Music

Speaking of local bands, I am in eager anticipation of something new from WHIPS. Love them!
  18. I admit that I was not the happiest with the trade. I didn't care about Brinson, just seemed like a big bust candidate to me at the time. Diaz and Harrison played in Appleton, I grew fond of them, and losing the two of them at the time really bothered me. Yamamoto was never a throw in type player in my eyes, he also played in Appleton, so I got to see him pitch several times. I thought he would probably top out as a #3, and hated to see him go as well. In retrospect, it was a more than great trade for us, no matter what happens with those 4 guys we traded away for Yelich. I don't see how anyone can possibly see otherwise... Yelich was an actual MVP, not a candidate, but an actual MVP and is putting up the same type of numbers for a second year in a row. We won the trade, simple as hat.
  19. Actually, there is just as much sex, if not more, in Game of Thrones if you want to be honest about it... lol
  20. Yes, it's really good. For whatever reason I never finished the series, I started watching season 4 but only watched 3 or 4 episodes and never went back. It was good though, more my fault for letting it slip out of my consciousness. I'm pretty lazy about keeping up with tv shows sometimes and it's not the show's fault. So many good characters though, Jack Rackham is my favorite. Yeah, I actually watched season one and 2 when we had Starz in our cable package, then lost track of it. Starting over, and like it more now than the first time I saw it. Glad there are two seasons I haven't seen yet, will be that much more fun after season 1 and 2...
  21. Black Sails Anyone watched this series from a few years back on Starz? I finished Game of Thrones and went straight into Black Sails, and so far, I love it! (just finished season one)
  22. I buy all my favorite TV Shows on dvd. I just like knowing that I own them, and if I want to see them, at anytime, I can. They have become so cheap in the past couple of years, I can't see not owning them.
  23. A couple of obvious questions regarding Game of Thrones: 1. Did no one worry about, or catch STDs? I would think STDs would be running wild at that time, given behaviors. 2. I'm assuming that during those times, women didn't shave their entire bodies, yet on the show, they were always hairless. These are just thoughts.
  24. *shaking head*
  25. agreed, and since our return was so low, I don't think any other team thinks he will be worth anything either. *sigh* Disappointing.
