  1. I live in the Fox Valley. Sprint was fine there. We had a problem when my son went to college at UWSP, coverage was horrible. We switched to Us Celluar, and haven't looked back. Really happy with their service, and it worked perfectly in Stevens Point. My daughter them went to college at UWEC, worked great there too.
  2. Wait, is this the old vintage Perry Mason episodes, or did they reboot the series? If so, I might have to look into this. What network?
  3. Lots of people feel the same way you do about Walking Dead, but it has kept my interest, and I still look forward to each episode.
  4. Same exact thing for me. Watched the first two seasons when they were actually on, loved them, and I have no idea why I never picked it back up... Started over from season one a couple weeks ago, and am about to finish season 3. I pretty much can't stop watching it, it's a great show!
  5. Walking Dead is still appointment tv for me, but that is the only one... Everything else I watch is dvr'd.
  6. Goldbergs is awesome, especially if you are an 80's kid.
  7. Agree with everything said about Community. Watched it from beginning to end when it was actually on TV. It was coupled with Parks and Rec, and was a great hour of television...
  8. This one is on my list, thanks for the review!

Listened to the new Pearl Jam yesterday... Loved it! It's now on my purchase list.

    New Music

I've been looking forward to that actually, haven't heard it yet though.
  11. Yeah, I've been waiting for the Drew Carey Show to come out on dvd for years, but no luck. Just Season 1. Apparently there was an issue with the music rights, so rather than release it with a fake soundtrack, they choose to not release it at all. I'm glad of that though, I don't want it with crappy fill in music.
  12. Showtime and EPIX had a couple weeks of free channels, all of their channels were free with cable. I recorded a bunch of movies to watch at a later date. I am surprised that HBO and Cinemax haven't followed suit. Cheap SOBs.
  13. BCS is set up to watch after Breaking Bad. I think you could do it either way, but since Breaking Bad was over before BCS started, I'd watch Breaking Bad first.
  14. The Wire has been on my to do list for ages, have just never gotten around to seeing it... So HBO is currently free? No, a selection of HBO shows are free. Here is a link: https://www.hbo.com/hbo-news/watch-hbo-free-no-subscription My wife and I also enjoyed Big Little Lies- it was pretty intense. We plan to watch Sopranos next. LOVED Sopranos... One of my favorite shows of all time!
  15. The Wire has been on my to do list for ages, have just never gotten around to seeing it... So HBO is currently free? Also, another oldie but goodie is Boston Legal. William Shatner and James Spader are just excellent in this show. They just feed off each other in so many ways. I have been watching 2 episodes at night before bed, and I can't get enough. I bought the entire series on dvd several years ago, but have just got around to plugging it in. It is just awesome. I did watch it live when it originally aired, but I appreciate it now even more.
  16. Better Call Saul is GREAT tv, and I am inclined to agree with you, or at least say they are equal in quality... I have yet to start Ozark, but it is on my list. I must be the only person left in the USA who hasn't seen any Tiger King yet. Honestly, I have no intention of doing so. The overexposure in memes and media hype is enough for me to veto the idea of watching.
  17. I'm a teacher, to make it to school on time with a 30 minute commute, I had to get up at 5:35 am every single day. Now that I teach from home, I don't get up until 7:30 am. The extra sleep I am now getting is such a bonus from the rest of the crap show, but I am appreciating it immensely. That is my own personal silver lining due to the fact I am not, and have never been a morning person.
  18. She is soooooooo fine on Boston Public, a show that ran in the early 2000's about a high school in Boston. Loved that show, loved her even more!
  19. Best of Enemies Saw it in the theater, loved it. Knew my wife would like it (she wasn't with me when I watched it in the theater, MAN, do I miss going to the movies), so since we have FREE showtime currently, we watched it last night. She loved it, and I enjoyed it for a second time. If you haven't seen it yet, it is worth your time.
  20. Anyone here watched Boardwalk Empire? I just started it, and am hooked. Love the gangster/mobster subject matter, and taking place in the 20's during prohibition and the depression just makes icing on the cake...….imo
  21. Just finished the regular series. Horrible. What a waste of 30 hours of my life. I'm left with wondering how anyone thinks that is a great series. Horrible.
  22. So, I finally get around to watching TWIN PEAKS. I have never seen it, not a single episode. I've been told for years how great it is, and that it is a must see series. I am on episode 22. I don't like it, not even a single bit. I find it boring, dated, and at times, just plain stupid. I now have to finish it, because that is just how I roll, but man, I don't understand what all the fuss is about.

  24. How much does the Corona Virus have to do with this?
  25. Taken 2 and 3 don't get any better in that regard... To be honest, once you have seen the first, you don't need to see the others...
