  1. I've seen every Marvel and DC movie... I always enjoy them, which is why I continue going.
  2. I just don't see this happening unless we shed some salary somehow.
  3. If I was being 100% honest with myself, and was given the choice of winning a World Series, then a decade of suckiness OR being competitive, going to the playoffs every year for the next decade and not winning the World Series, I'd take the World Series win. My NFL team has now won it twice. There were a lot of lean years between the first time they won it and the next, but I wouldn't change a single thing if it meant getting to feel that feeling of my team being World Champions. (I wasn't as invested the second time though for a few different reasons, but nothing, I mean nothing compares to that first time) I desperately want the Brewers to win one in my lifetime, and I do realize that the odds are against me...
  4. It seems you are willing to use any angle, ANY angle, to prove your backwards point. Dude, just take a look at what you just typed... You are saying that MA is willing to give Stearns more money to work with, but out of pure ego, Stearns turns it down? Seriously? I've seen some crazy comments on these boards, but this one is right up there with the craziest of all time.
  5. Saw Halloween Kills. It delivered exactly what I expected... Entertainment! You can't go to these movies and expect great storylines, etc. You know what you are getting before you step into the theatre...
  6. or better yet, keep politics out of sports all together...
  7. I am 100% sure the Brewers will bring in another outfielder in the off season if the right deal comes along. They were willing to bring in Reynolds last year, and we already had Yelich, Cain, JBJ, Garcia, and Taylor on the roster. I'm afraid, that for whatever reason, Taylor will not get the chance to become an every day starter...
  8. Has anyone seen the new Venom or Halloween Kills movies? Recommended or no?
  9. Let the record reflect, I have taken my name out of consideration for the Mets G.M. position. I'm too busy with a guy on the other line about some whitewalls. Major League quote appreciated...
  10. Man, you are truly a broken record. Relentless.
  11. Plate discipline is surely going to be effected next year when no one will be afraid of him. Those walks might dry up. On Statcast plate discipline isn't just about taking pitches for walks. This is zone swing pct, zone contact pct , chase pct, chase contact pct, whiff pct, 1st pitch swing pct, overall swing pct, meatball pct, and probably a couple I'm not remembering off top of my head. 2020 was a glaringly bad view. 2021 was closer to non 2019 seasons. It's fairly obvious confidence and attacking pitches is most of whats wrong. Launch Angle the biggest culprit of it all. Meh, he sucked last year, no way to get around it.
  12. ummm, nah, forget it...
  13. Plate discipline is surely going to be effected next year when no one will be afraid of him. Those walks might dry up.
  14. Good, if Stearns does leave, it will be great to have a guy like Arnold step in and hopefully not miss a beat... Makes me wonder if Arnold knows something the rest of us don't...
  15. God I hope not. He is probably our future Ace once our top 3 move on. I think it would be silly to trade him, period, unless of course the offer was a severe overpay. I probably over value Ashby and Small since we suffered with no pitching for so many years.
  16. How many more years of control would be had on Reynold's current contract?
  17. Maybe i'm confusing football and baseball.... Interesting... I did not know that.
  18. Ground yourself in this comment above people. I watched Joey hit the walk off home run the last week off the season in Appleton, but before that he had left like 11 men stranded on base with pop ups and strike outs. And that is A plus baseball. He has a lot of work yet to do. That being said, he could be Corey Hart. Wiemer had 33 runs batted in in 152 PA at Appleton and an OPS of 1.146. Over a full season of 608 PA, that's translates to 132 RBI. You can cherry pick a few AB's over a day or two where he failed to drive in runs, but to suggest he struggled at high A is a stretch. He dominated high A. He looked like a man among boys in Appleton! Dare I say, he is going to be a complete stud, and a fixture in our outfield for years to come in the near future! Add him to Gray and Mitchell, and we have the makings for a great, cheap outfield! The future is bright!
  19. Yeah, it's my understanding that if it is a promotion, the Brewers have no choice but to let the Mets speak to him...
  20. I think Rizzo's best days are behind him. Is he even much more than average as a first basemen these days? He'll cost more than he is worth imo.
  21. Yeah, that would be a big NO from me if I'm making the decisions. That is just way toooooooooooo much to give up.
  22. Yeah, there is no reason not to try and lock him up...
  23. Since there isn't much to talk about regarding the Brewers, I've seen this posted in a few different forms, in a few different places. https://reviewingthebrew.com/2021/10/23/brewers-mlb-insider-picks-milwaukee-land-rival-free-agent-slugger/amp/?__twitter_impression=true&fbclid=IwAR1CTJJtkLgEsoCkIwyLs2w81-azLAaLC4zhcouXwNymteFaeh9YnXa0PTM https://wisportsheroics.com/brewers-rumored-to-be-landing-spot-for-nick-castellanos/?fbclid=IwAR1e8oGE94ZiDkkVn_WjVvb_E_5FpP7yUXG5bUxTRNvdCJC_MjMHJigFGdw
  24. Who is Turing? New phone auto correct problems. Turang. Kinda amazing you couldn't decipher an a vs an I mistake on one of Brewers top prospects. I knew who you were talking about, just making sure you did...
  25. Yup, that's what I meant, if it happens during the off season with no in-season interruption, no one will care.
