    Yeah, I don't get the venom on that. An actual 1B digs that out. True, but a good defensive player makes that throw not so adventurous.

    If I'm Hendriks, I'm asking to be traded in the off season. I can't see him being interested n being part of a rebuild.

    Well, the fact that Yelich is a shell of himself should be discussed by fans, right? I mean, if someone is paying attention at all, it has to be a major concern. Not just for the fans, but also the organization.

    No way is Yelich an above average leftfielder. The eye test tells a different story. Poor arm, I mean to me, it is obvious he has a poor arm for an outfieler.

    meh. Nothing burger. I'm sure Stearns touches base with all the big name guys that are available EVERY single season. We always hear about it afterwards, and it is always just talk. Would LOVE to hear what we offerd though.

    Sadly, that is exactly how I felt when Yelich was out...

    At 40 i think it 100% would make sense. Even giving him 10-15 PH appearances in September along with his clubhouse presence would be worth it. But with only 2 extra guys coming up it's not smart. I 100% want 2 pitchers in September to help manage the workload for the big 3 which gives us a 13 position/15 pitcher split. Give me Ashby and Lindblom, both guys currently starting so can provide plenty of innings. Lindblom? Lindblom? Lindblom? Am I seeing that correctly? Hard pass on that guy, I've seen enogh...

    Being contrarian all the time though, once in a while, you are bound to be right. Luckily, when you are wrong, people don't always remind you.

    This thread was started May 28th, and here we are, almost 3 months later, still amazed at just how bad these two guys have been. It saddens me.

    We can only hope, but I see no way he doesn't exercize his option for next year. He will stay and take the money.

    I've gone through some gates this year where they wanted me to put keys, phone, etc in the little plastic bin and other times I'm holding my keys, ready to put them in the bin and they just wave me through, not requiring me to put anything in the bin. I'm assuming the keys in my hand sets off the detector but they have no idea if I may have some other "non-acceptable" metal item in my pockets as they just assume the keys were the item that set the detector off. yup, that just feels like going through the motions to me. what's the point?

    Brewers are 13-8 in Woodruff starts. I think it was pretty obvious he was wishing for better W/L luck for Woodruff, as great as he has been. I thought so too. As well as Woody has pitched, he definately should have, and deserves more wins.

    He said "is this the ideal line-up.?" In the here and now, I think that is pretty close to the ideal line-up. Can Yelich turn things around? I sure hope so, but there aren't many signs saying that is going to happen. I think Yelich should be dropped in the line-up, but that might be another different conversation all together.

    Adames is making me rethink my NO PLAYER JERESY rule! I love this kid! (just not into wearing player jerseys due to the fact they always leave or suck when I get one)
