  1. We've graduated or traded for Narvaez, Hiura, Adames, Urias, Yelich, Woodruff, Burnes, Peralta, Houser, Hader, Williams, Suter & won the 7th most games in MLB over the last four years. 29th ranked farm or not, Ashby, Small, Mitchell & Turang are all due to start coming up over the next couple years & look like potential MLB contributors at this point. The models are working just fine. Yet we still don't have a 1B or 3B in that model system you speak of.
  2. STOP questioning other fans opinions already! Geez... You and others do it constantly. It's ok to question the validity of this team. It's ok to feel less than positive about a team who lays an egg against the Reds, our current nemisis. It's ok to have thoughts that are not like your own. Right now, on this very day, the Reds are better than us. It is obvious. That could change, and hopefully it will, but just stop being the thought police. It's great that you only see unicorns and rainbows, but there are legit concerns about this team moving forward, and the series against the Reds has shed light on a lot of them. Man...
  3. Went to the game today. Total dud to see in person. I mean, it was a crap show from the first pitch to the end. Woodruff was off all day, but still only allowed 1 single run through six, but as usual, the offense couldn't do squat. Leaving games like this just makes you feel really BLAH...
  4. Watch the replay, Yelich made a move, though extremly small, and tried to correct it. He saw the ball get past the 1B, and like 99.9999% of humans made the slightest move towards 2B. If he had run back to 1B he would have been ok. Problem is, that almost never gets called, so he probably figured he was fine. I don't know how anyone can look at that and say he didn't have the slightest thought of going to 2B, because he did, and you can see it in his movement.
  5. Can easily see it happening. Or they win tomorrow, and still have a 6 game lead going into the break...
  6. This is no time for Hader to lose his edge... Hopefully just a rough patch, and will be fine after the break.
  7. Hope all went well… interested in what they said. game is tomorrow, we shall see...
  8. The point is the Cubs will get a very nice package in return for Bryant. Former MVPs still in their prime especially with Bryant’s versatility simply don’t become available often. For what it’s worth I don’t expect the Brewers to trade any of their top minor leaguers at the deadline (they haven’t done it yet under the current FO). More likely than not, they’ll focus on 2nd tier players they can acquire for low level minor leaguers or in quantity for quality type trades. Brinson and Diaz were some of their top guys when we traded them, right?
  9. Ok, let me ask this question then: Is the outside ticket office connected to the inside ticket office? If so, do you think it would work to give them the damaaed bobbles at the outside ticket window, then ask them to leave the new ones at the inside ticket window? Does that make sense? It seems silly that they set the pick up at the outside windows if I can't then take them inside the stadium...
  10. So you think they will let me carry 2 Woodstock Bobbles into the stadium, especially since I am picking them up from the ticket office? Then I like your idea, drop them into a plastic bag once I get through the gates... Thanks!
  11. Miller Park/American Family Field regulars, I have a question... I am going to the game tomorrow (Yount bobble day) but have to pick up 2 Woodstock bobbles from the ticket office that are being replaced because they were broken. They only allow 9"x5"x2" bags in the stadium, so does this mean I won't be allowed to take the Woodstock bobbles into the stadium? I'll be shuttling to the stadium from a local eating establishment, so I can't take the bobbles to the car after I get them... Are they actually following the bag size limitations? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
  12. It's possible, but only until he goes down with another injury... It's inevitable at this point.
  13. Agreed with all of this! I'm just not sure that the social justice agenda that has transpired the past couple of years needs to be in the post season. Regular season, whatever, but please stop messing with the post season unis. I want to know what team I am watching, not having to spend 5 minutes figuring it out (yes, 5 minutes is an exageration...) I'm to the point that I think MLB does too many uniforms too. Road, away, and a Sunday jersey is fine...
  14. So, I wonder if this means we will not be dealing for another "big bat" 1B? That leaves 3B for offense improvement, unless they are willing to roll with Urias.
  15. We don't know because none of them have played there, and more than likely will not this year either. Again, we don't know because none of them have played there, and more than likely will not this year either.
  16. I'm not 100% sure the Brewers won't be interested in bringing Garcia back... I also don’t think Garcia being in the team would be a block to Gallo. CF/1B and the likely DH next year Gallo isn't a 1B, and we still have old man Cain and more than likely JBJ for another year. Hard to imagine paying Gallo with an absolute log jam in the OF if we bring Garcia back. Adding the DH though could change that pretty quickly.
  17. I'm not 100% sure the Brewers won't be interested in bringing Garcia back...
  18. It's to the point that I can't stand watching Williams pitch. What a complete turn-around from last year when he was as automatic as there has ever been!
