  1. They eye test tells me differently. Why is it a false narrative, because you disagree? On numerous occasions this season, his arm has looked weak, not nearly as strong as you'd expect a starting MLB SS arm should look. Part of it may be that he just doesn't compare to Arcia when it comes to arm strength, the other part is that his arm just isn't that strong.
  2. Agree completely Literally every one of his throwing errors this year has been an overthrow. There are plenty of negative things that can be said about Urias, but it surprises me that anyone who has watched him play can believe he has some peashooter for an arm. His arm looks weak, no zip on the ball. Nothing close to the bazooka Arcia had. Urias has a 2B arm imo. Since we are being condescending, I'm surprised that anyone who has watched him play can believe he doesn't have a peashooter for an arm.
  3. How soon before Woodruff, Burnes and/or Peralta want to be traded? Can you imagine taking the mound every 5 days for this nightmare of an offense?
  4. It's the kneecap injury, he has not been the same since and I am wondering if he ever wil be. Figures, the Brewers finally pony up for a super star and they get screwed royally. Being a Brewers fan is hard damn work, always has been.
  5. Urias at 3B? He can't make throws from SS, how can anyone think he can make throws from 3B? Arcia had a cannon, Urias doesn't, in fact, his arm strength is surprisingly poor.
  6. Limiting the number of throws to first? So if that limit is reached, the runners on first can get huge leads with no chance of being picked off? I think that is a horrible idea.
  7. On another note. I have pretty much enjoyed most of the seasons of American Horror Story. I didn't care for the one that was supposed to be a reality show, and now that I just watched Apocolypse. I'm adding that to the seasons I don't like. Started out great, then it just became another edition of the Coven season. My favorite season is Freakshow, by far.
  8. Finished the Wire a couple weeks ago. Excellent series, however, I was disappointed for many reasons with the final couple of episodes. This is definately a series that I will revisit in a couple years.
  9. What makes anyone think the Nats will be in sell mode. Our record isn't much better than theirs.
  10. and OF if we are making a wishlist.
  11. We have 3 guys who have TOR stuff! I won't name names, I'm all about not creating a jinx, but damn, these guys look for real. We have to grab bats and spend some money in the off season. Wasting these guys in their prime would be a crying shame. BATS!
  12. Why do I get the feeling turborickey tuned in around the 7th inning. I am not one that puts too much stock in divine intervention, but if any of the offense can indeed be attributed to your absence from following today, then my sincere thanks for taking one for the team! I tuned in for the bottom of the 9th. Maybe I should stop watching all together... lol
  13. If Arcia keeps it up, and Swanson keeps sucking, he might get a chance to prove himself this season.
  14. I'm going to force myself not to tune in today. So, either Freddy will throw a no-hitter, or the offense will explode for 5+ runs. Or, Freddy throws a no-hitter for 9 innings, and gets a no decision because we don't score any runs for him.
  15. Very interesting Rock? A homer makes it a 4-6 game. lol
  16. No way Cain isn't hurt after tonight's game. I'm sick of his body language. That was a stupid little league baserunning mistake, he got lucky. I hope he retires after this year, but no way that happens with all that $ on the table.
  17. He needs to be headed to the unemployment line.
  18. Assuming they don't resign Garcia, we are looking at a Yelich/Cain/Bradley full time outfield with Taylor filling in for off days, injuries, etc. Things are not looking good for 2022 either as far as the OF is concerned.
