  1. Imagine Yelich, Cain and Grisham as our starting OF. Doubtful we'd have signed one of or both of Garcia and Bradley.
  2. Would getting out of the contract the rest of this year add anything THIS year though? Does that mean we have 10 million to play with in a trade later? Highly doubtful.
  3. Imagine Woodruff, Burnes, Peralta and Rogers as or top 4 in the rotation.
  4. He seems to like the bright lights!
  5. Lepay, STOP using "pay-off pitch" as your only thing you can think of saying when the count is full. I freaking can't stand hearing it anymore.
  6. Is it a major hassle if my daughter, who curently lives in Ohio, were to purchase a car in Wisconsin, that will actually be an Ohio vehicle? Can a dealership set up the license, etc, as they do when you purchase a car here in WI?
  7. So you are supporting Lindblom's position on the roster then?
  8. You can justify Taylor not getting a start all you want, but the guy has earned more playing time. He'll probably be the next Trent Grisham.
  9. I still doubt either could be had for cheap.
  10. This inspired me to go re-read that Frosty Boys thread from October 2018, and that nickname is still as cringey now as it was then. So bad. Gold. Wasn't "pile on" and coach Cooper that same season as well? It was "pour it on" just sayin'
  11. EWWWW! yuk.
  12. Add soccer to that list. At one time pretty recently, soccer was like #2 or #3 for concussions in High School sports due to "heading" the ball... Not just heading the ball, but knocking heads with opponents while trying to head the ball...
  13. I had no stmptoms other than a slight sore arm with both shots. Wife had a headache after #1, nothing after #2. My daughter just got shot #2, and is going through fever, chills, fatigue. Son getting #2 tomorrow, but had no symptoms after #1. All phfizer.
  14. You nailed it for me. I go to the games for an experience. It's a 3 hour commute for me (probably a bit more from leaving the driveway to parking at the stadium). We ALWAYS tailgate because a. it's fun and part of the experience, and b. it's a lot cheaper than eating inside the stadium. The roof is a huge + because if it looked like rain in the past there was no way I was going to potentially spend 6 hours driving to not watch a game. As far as going to the game to watch just Yelich because he's a former MVP.. yeah, no. Definitely don't care about seeing an individual player. If the Crew signed Trout I guess I'd probably be sure to see him live at least once but it wouldn't influence my overall attendance. The team being good will make me want to attend more games but the reality is the max amount of times I'm going to drive 6 hours round trip is limited much more by geography(and to an extent financials) than anything else. Agreed. I don't go to see individual players, I go to see the Brewers team and the experience of live baseball.
  15. I wish Counsell would go with a "hot" guy more often than the "cold" guy. Kinda' annoying. Goes back to something discussed here before... Guys have big days, only to find benchtime the following day. Makes no sense to take a guy who is obviously seeing the ball well, and bench them... Probably should start a thread to see just how often it happens...
  16. Vogelbomb hits 2 dingers yesterday, then is relegated to the bench. Yup, I get the righty lefty thing, but what are his splits?
  17. No explanation as to why JBJ didn't advance on the deep fly to right? Geez.
  18. It's surely on my list, but I haven't been in a theater yet... Maybe this is the one that drags me back?
  19. Nope, Narvey pinch hitting for him. Too bad Hader was scheduled to hit. Maybe CC let's him pitch another inning if he wasn't supposed to hit.
  20. Probably because a lot of his hits have come at clutch times...
  21. With so many games being called off due to COVID outbreaks, I have to wonder if these guys are being vaccinated or not... I would think that those who wanted the shot would have gotten it by now.
