  1. Counsel just plain can not allow himself to leave Sogard on the freaking bench. It is just asinine! (I fully expect Sogard to now go 4 for 5 with 4 RBIs and a homer tonight)
  2. Good one! I'm ashamed I know where you got that.
  3. So you guys are fine with a noodle armed catcher, and you will defend him no matter what I say so..........there is no need to carry on this conversation any longer.
  4. I'd take a flyer on him in a heartbeat! He won't last long, someone is going to grab him up.
  5. https://www.beyondtheboxscore.com/2013/7/18/4522508/who-deserves-credit-for-throwing-out-base-runners Ok, so then, you are saying that Vogt's arm isn't that bad? I get it, pitchers have a certain amount of responsibility when it comes to guys taking bases, but seriously, there is no defense when it comes to Vogt's arm. It is not good.
  6. yup, I haven't watched this season though, all on the dvr. Plan to binge it this summer. I have really enjoyed this series.
  7. Just because they were viewed as the best available didn't mean we had to have one, or even two of them. Just really happy Stearns didn't do something stupid.
  8. Arcia's name was pronounced differently for his full season in Appleton too. I can't break myself of saying it the way I heard it announced so many times...
  9. That was me, trying to make the title less vague. I'll change it to those guys. Sorry! no problem...
  10. Use the "img" tag you can see above the text field when composing a new post. Paste the url of the image/gif between the tags, and it'll post. Should look like Web%20address%20goes%20here, before you Submit the post hmmmm, I tried that a couple of times with no luck. Ok, thanks, I'll try again, must be doing something little wrong.

  12. Actually, my original intent for this thread was to call attention to Lynn, Cobb and Archer alone. Someone added the other part to the title of MY thread, changing the original reason I started it to begin with. Oh well.
  13. anyone care to give a quick tutorial on how to post gifs here on this site. Can't figure it out.
  14. deGrom is not expected to miss a start according to this. Find it hard to believe though. I hope it's true, as I have him on 3 of my 4 fantasy teams. Mets manager Mickey Callaway said Thursday that he expects Jacob deGrom (elbow) to make his next start Monday against the Reds. Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News reported Thursday morning that deGrom would miss at least four starts with a hyperextended right elbow, but it sounds like that was inaccurate. The 29-year-old right-hander is planning to throw Friday and there should be something more official after that workout. He injured the elbow on a swing Wednesday night against the Braves. An MRI showed no structural damage. Source: Lindsey Adler on TwitterMay 3 - 10:58 AM
  15. Doesn't Jeffress deserve a thread of his own too? A Jeremy Jeffress appreciation thread perhaps?
  16. Way too early to eat, or not eat crow. One start people, only one start.
  17. That may be true, however, if teams we play know that he has a noodle arm, they will probably steal more than normal. If I was managing against him, I know I would.
  18. All Villar does when he does stupid things like that is plant a seed in CC's head that Sogard should be playing more...
  19. So, if anyone still wonders why Villar gets so much hate here, there is your perfect example. Lead off single, Yelich and Braun up next, and he tries to stretch it into a double, and is out by a freaking mile... I mean he is a complete dead duck. Just plain dumb, and I have been one that wanted him to have as much playing time as possible, not on the hate bandwagon. EDIT: Which costs us a run on Yelich's double.
  20. I was going to post almost the exact same thing. Fully agree, don't tinker with what is working so Eric Freaking Sogard can get a start. Leave Perez on the bench where he belongs.
  21. Kyle Lohse has reported to Triple-A Omaha. Lohse signed a minor league contract with the Royals on March 31 and spent the last few weeks at their spring training complex in Arizona. The 39-year-old right-hander didn't pitch anywhere professionally in 2017, but we figure to see him in Kansas City at some point this summer given the Royals' poor overall pitching depth. He can earn up to $1.5 million if he reaches the majors. Source: Jeffrey Flanagan on TwitterMay 2 - 12:03 PM
  22. People who agree to purchase something from you, setting up dates to meet, etc., only to have them back out on you. They are the ones that respond to craigslist, VarageSale, etc., yet they change their mind and don't bother telling you. Just plain rude.
