CC never gets asked the tough questions. It's frustrating.

If they have completely given up on him, then why waste the roster spot. This seems stupid. If there is something going on behind the scenes, then ok, but otherwise, I don't see why they can't let him play every day until June and see what they have. He should have been starting since opening day so we could evaluate what we have. It's a head scratcher.

My exact thought. With no experience yet this season, he should not have been the guy in that situation. That had potential to be a mess quickly. I know there are those here who love CC and think the mangaer has little to no bearing on game results, but I am questioning CC a lot lately, and it is strating to bug me.

Stephen Vogt could be facing season-ending shoulder surgery. Vogt suffered a right shoulder strain in the middle of spring training and then experienced a significant setback last week while on a minor league rehab assignment with Double-A Biloxi.
