Well, looking at his numbers so far this year, he seems to be a pretty good hitter to me. I know, small sample, but he is young, and without seeing him every day, it's hard for a Brewers fan to judge him. -

This is good news, If they MUST do the multiples of each bobble, I hope this is the way they go in the future. I wonder if the Hart and Braun will have retros/multiples/variants/etc...

I know someone who went with a group of 5 to the Aoki game, and pulled 4 out of 5 retros... A couple years ago, I went to the McGehee game, and the lady sitting directly behind me had 4 tickets, and 4 retro McGehees. I had 4 people with me, and none of us drew a retro. She would not trade, and she would not sell. She was going straight to ebay. Which was stupid, since she would pay the ebay fees and by the time she was done, could have sold me one and avoided the fees and shipping. She had ebay on her mind, so I stopped the conversation once I saw she was going to hold her ground.

I have no issue with him selling them to the highest bidder. Supply and demand. I'd like him to come clean and admit he was the seller, but I just don't care who sells them. If he wants to make some extra scratch, no big deal. The only issue I have is that I refuse to pay those prices, so I will forever be left without this add to my collection. It will always seem incomplete to me, but I'll get over it...

I "heard" there were going to be 50% powder blue and 50% white uniforms on George Scott. I have not had it verified from anyone for certain, but that is the rumor I heard. I like that better than the typical alternate/retro ratio, won't be that difficult or expensive to get both. I'll be at the game, and will have 6 of them, so hopefully I get both editions if there are actually 2 of them.

If only work didn't get in the way of Brewers baseball. *sigh*

slump or no slump, as long as we have to hit guys like Yuni, Gonzalez, and Lali in our line-up, we just have no chance to mount any kind of threat in the win column. Couple those 3 spots with Weeks and the pitcher, and we are in rough shape. Rickie needs to snap out of this, but hitting him in the 4 spot isn't going to help.

The guy after him in the lineup today is starting to heat up and has, historically, been a good hitter with RISP. A radical idea might be to put him in the 4 spot. I agree 100%. Lucroy is a better hitter than Weeks overall. I'm surprised Lucroy hasn't been placed 4th in the lineup. Weeks should be around 6 or 7. I'd go one step further and say that Weeks should be hitting 8th as of late.

I do not like what is about to happen on the mound. Badenhop and Gonzalez, toss a coin, but the odds of them holding down this win have to be minimal. I'd almost rather see Axford, and that is just a crazy comment to make given his season to this point.

When you get past our top 3 in the line-up, it is ugly... Opposing pitchers must love facing us right now. I'm not sure why anyone is giving Braun anything to hit, there is nothing in the line-up after him, so why not just put him on every time?
