  1. Since there was no explanation given, why was the "Pollyanna Ronnicky" thread locked? Just curious since there was no comment at the end telling us why it was shut down. Thanks.
  2. The George Scott was easily the one I looked most forward to! Loved him as a kid, love the look of the bobble... It is in consideration for my favorite Brewer SGA bobble of all time! Love the Aaron idea, however, we already have 2 others. Will still be a popular one though, because hey, it's Hank freaking Aaron!!! Was very happy they did an Aoki, good choice, and the bobble is nice! Should remian a popular bobble with the fans as long as he continues to produce. Gomez is quietly becoming my favorite current Brewer, glad they did one of him, but I am MEH on the cerveceros jersey since it appears it will be the metallic gold like last years Aramis. They don't wear a jersey like that ever, so why is it on a bobblehead? That being said, I think the fans will eat it up! I like the Corey Hart 1913 uniform bobble. I like that he isn't swinging, but just standing there holding the bat. Almost reminds me of a WARRIORS pose...lol Gorman = meh, but I like the Pilots retro idea, so I can live with it. Will the current younger fans get it though? Oglivie deserves a full sized bobble, so I'm cool with this one as well. harvey deserves a full sized bobble too! Can't complain about this one, but there is no WOW factor. Another Braun, I'm sure that over the course of his career, we will see several more. Fans will eat this one up too since he is the face of the franchise. I'm sick of the sausages, sick of them I say. I hope when the series is done this go round, they take a little break for a couple of years but who am I kidding, the sausage series will never end. What I'd like to see in the future: Ted Simmons Juan Neives Teddy Higuera Greg Vaughn

  4. Amen. The question I have is, what will it take to get him fired? Is he bullet proof with Mark A.? He is a giant doofus, I haven't been able to stomach his presence as our manager since he started Kotsay in CF in a key playoff matchup. That was and still is inexcusable in my eyes, and everything stupid that he has done since has been magnified. He is a complete and total wuss, and if the players were allowed to be honest, I don't think they want him around either. I want nothing more for this organization than to see him gone. I can't stand looking at him, can't stand listening to his clueless comments in post game interviews, and can no longer stomach anything about him. He completely kills the spirit I have for this team. I want him gone.
  5. I bought a stolen moped from Downer once. Small world.
  6. I don't see how any brewer fan can rip on the Miller kid. He has straight up owned us in 2 starts. Sounds like jealous school girl whining to me... The kid is good, and will probably be even better in the future.
  7. This is a team of severe ups, and depressing downs. It feels like we have no shot to compete with the Cards, and it feels like that because we typically don't... With a farm system like theirs, I don't see that trend reversing any time soon. We will just continue being their whipping boys, and try to take it out on the rest of the league.
  8. I've seen enough... Hopefully we make a better showing tomorrow. *sigh*
  9. Nah, that's not me. Don't tell my friends but I actually like Braun. If I had to say....I guess I would go with http://www.reddit.com/r/Cardinals/ but I don't post much there either. I promise I won't cause any trouble here. I just like talking/ENJOYING baseball! Nothing wrong with healthy debate...
  10. Which is why I would expect us to start to hammer on him at some point in time....I'd like that time to be now please!
  11. If you are talking about the play at the plate, it wasn't even close.
  12. He should have caught that ball for an out That is exactly what I thought, very conservative approach there for sure.
  13. Yup, those were the wrong hats with the powder blue uniforms, now they have the wrong hats with the pinstripes... I am BOOOOOOOing whoever makes those decisions.. BOOOOOOOOOOO!
  14. We really need to put this kid in his place early... Would be nice to put up a big inning early on.
  15. So much for Yuni's "spectacular" defense... Correct me if I am wrong, but the Brewers never wore those yellow front panel hats with their home pinstripe uniforms, those hats were only wore on the road... That hat does not look very good with the pinstripes. Just looks wrong and awkward.
  16. Wow, I'm glad some of you aren't my neighbors. It is common courtesy really. Is it a pain to live next to the guy, sure, but as a non-smoker myself, if my life was constantly being disrupted by someone who chooses to smoke and not consider those around me who do not smoke, I would find that to be rude. I was s happy when the law took effect not allowing smoking in public places, no one happier to be honest. Gaining the freedom to take my family to restaurants, etc without the threat of secondhand smoke opened up a whole new world for us. There will always be a riff between smokers and non-smokers, that can't really be avoided what it comes down to is common courtesy. Either you want to live peacefully with your neighbors, or you can take the attitude that many in this thread took and say screw you. It's your decision in the end. If you only smoke sometimes, why not just quit all together? Is it a social thing? I just don't get it...
  17. Luck and bad luck happen to every team. This is baseball, there are 162 games, in the grand scheme of things, we have had, and will have, our share of luck and bad luck. It's not a big deal, whining and complaining about the one lucky inning makes us look bad. Suck it up and get 'em next time!
  18. If we get to Gonzalez, he has to be pinch-hit for, right? Lucroy, then Maldy moves to 1B?
  19. I can't believe Gomie didn't screw himself into the ground on that 2-0 pitch...
