    Axford is mop duty man from here on out, right RRR? Which brings me to the decision for RRR to say publicly that Axford will be getting his closer job back. That was an asinine thing to do, and now he looks like a fool...............................AGAIN!

    While I hope you're right, I'm not feeling it. Axford blowing games just sucks the life right out of me, I'm so tired of seeing it. Any reminder of last season is a life sucker, I feel your pain.

    It's really too bad our manager doesn't think about taking a different approach with Weeks like Matheny is doing with Freese. Has anyone even suggested Weeks gets some time off since RRR can't seem to come to that conclusion by himself. Found this to share: Cardinals manager Mike Matheny said David Freese could receive multiple days off as the club tries to find a way to get him through his slump. Freese had another hitless performance Monday, dropping his batting line to .163/.255/.204. "We've tried to let him play through it but he's not heading in a good direction," Matheny said. "So, at that point you say take a different perspective and give him a little bit of time to see how he responds. Last year we gave him two or three in a row, and he was able to get some work done and was a different guy." Source: St. Louis Post-Dispatch

    In all seriousness, what did Kotsay ever do for us that we feel the need to replace? If we need an established vet to play those positions, I would hope we would set our sights on someone a little better than Kotsay.

    I'm a Gallardo fan, but watching him pitch is sometimes very painful. High pitch counts just irritate me. Will he ever be a consistent 7 inning guy, or will we always just hope to get 6?

    I was considering getting Roache, Taylor, Haniger and Coulter on bats and balls this year, but I'm afraid I'll have to act quickly, as I doubt they stick in Appleton all season long. Thanks for the information. I was checking on ebay but didn't see any great deals on them, 6 of the bats can be had for about $140 shipped.

    Kershaw struck out 12, and retired 18 straight. Looked pretty "on" to me...

    Davis needs to be sent back down, he is wasting away in the show. Get the kid at bats for when we can actually use him in the future.

    Not to mention, an outfield of Roache, Haniger and Taylor is a sight to see... I don't know how long these guys will all be in Appleton, but I am taking advantage of seeing them as much as I can. Add Coulter to their offensive fire-power, and it is just a pleasure to behold!

    I don't see the issue either to be honest. They are attractive girls who flash on the screen for literally a few seconds at a time. They aren't obnoxious in any way, and are just a flash of eye candy. Just don't see the reason for a 3 page thread about the horrors of attractive women.
