  1. Do they make the pitchers wear helmets these days?
  2. How much longer are we going to go with this guy? We are just so bad right now, it is becoming comical in the sense that there is nothing else that can be done besides laugh.
  3. Actually, according to 2011, we had K-Rod for the 8th and Axford for the 9th in 2012. What about 2011 led you to believe our bullpen was going to be as bad as it was in 2012? Hindsight is 20/20 man, you can't possibly claim you saw the 2012 meltdown coming.
  4. I can only assume you meant to say JERRY Hairston Jr...
  5. Badenhop and Gonzalez... That's it for me. I can't watch any longer. PS Take Braun out for the day, no need to risk any kind of injury in a game like this.
  6. It's time to bring Morris up and quit dinking around. When Ramirez comes back, that gives us an actual line-up to put out there every day unlike the nonsense we are subjected to now. Get a real 1B out there, anything he provides with the bat will be a bonus.
  7. I've had it with Rickie and his giant mop of hair. Spend more time on improving your hitting rather than doing your ugly head of hair... Cut it off, maybe a new look can get things going...
  8. Those have been popping up rather frequently...
  9. A very familiar statement... Is it possible that this guy is just never going to live up to his hype? I like Rickie, like him a lot, but my patience is running out. His defense isn't good enough to cover for the fact that he sucks with the bat as well.
  10. According to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, free agent reliever Francisco Rodriguez has been drawing interest from numerous teams, including the Brewers, Angels and Marlins. Rodriguez struggled in the first half of the 2012 season, but pitched much better down the stretch run. He also showed improved velocity, which carried over into his stint pitching for Team Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic. Still just 31-years-old, and with 294 career saves on his resume, he could upgrade many struggling bullpens around the league and shouldn't be out of work for long. Those in deep leagues who are speculating on saves should monitor this situation closely. Source: CBSSports.com
  11. Lohse has been pretty impressive himself. He in no way deserves a loss tonight unless things go South very quickly.
  12. I'm taking my teenage son to see RUSH! He has never been to a concert, what a great first concert to see and file in the memory bank!
  13. Gomez CAN make things happen, Yuni and Gonzo, probably not so much... The fewer at bats they get the better.
  14. There is no way he can be any worse than the crap we are trotting out there currently...
  15. Drop Gonzalez to 7... The less he hits, the better. To be honest, I'd have him hitting 8th, with Yuni at 7.
  16. Sorry man, I just don't have the time to do this. I have 4 other regular leagues that take up all my time...
  17. Yet when our HUGE looking hole at 1B emerged, we did nothing but sign Yuni B... (far from a mid level free agent, and far from a guy who can play the position.) *nervous laugh* It still hurts to even think this is going to be our solution until someone finally realizes a mistake has been made.

  19. Mini Brauns: $25 + free shipping = $25 $36.08 + $5.99 = $42.07 $38 + $6.95 = $44.95 $34 + $5 = $39 $34.88 + 6.95 = $41.83 $32.50 + $5.60 = $38.10 $32.50 + $5.60 = $38.10 $44.99 + $5.95 = $50.85 Average of $39.99 each, dropping another $4.12 each on average... 1st batch averaged $48.70 2nd batch averaged $44.11 About a $9 drop total.
  20. Seriously? A few less infield hits? IF Axford pitched like he did in the 2nd half? Please... Seems like you are arguing just for the sake of argument. You can not base your argument on things that didn't happen.
  21. Listening to our manager right now makes me want to puke. Can't stomach it anymore. *click*
