  1. You must have some great insiders on your payroll to be posting so many things as fact...
  2. Brewers general manager Doug Melvin indicated to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com on Thursday night that Zack Greinke is not a sure thing to be traded. More accurately, Melvin was trying to downplay a USA Today story where he confirmed that Greinke would "definitely" be traded. "I just said there was that possibility," said Melvin. "I don't think there's any secret, with the Trade Deadline, that this is a possibility. Zack knows that. We know that. Other teams know that." There's always the chance that the Brewers could keep Greinke for the rest of the year and make him a qualifying offer to secure draft pick compensation, but we still fully expect he'll get dealt before Tuesday's non-waiver trade deadline. The Rangers, Angels, Braves and White Sox have reportedly expressed the most interest in the impending free agent. Source: Brewers.mlb.com
  3. I am bitter, my thoughts negative right now on anything having to do with this team. i am fullt expecting us to get some underwhelmimng package that will seem like we got screwed. I really hope Melvin is playing hardball and using desperation on our trading partners part to get this done. I don't want to settle I want to get some parts that will help us out in the near future.
  4. awful early to proclaim he is on isn't it? (2nd inning) lol As I am typing this, the crap has hit the fan... Great job Yo.
  5. Who cares really? It only matters if you believe in WAR as an actual stat. I myself think WAR is unreliable and inaccurate, therefore, I pretty much ignore it's findings.
  6. IF we get Andrus in the Greinke deal, Aramis needs to stay put!!!!
  7. RR likes "Izzy", he wasn't going anywhere.
  8. Funny you should mention this, my wife and I, plus our 2 teenagers, were considering a trip to St. Louis as well. If anyone would like to expand suggestions to include cool family things as well as cool 30ish guy things, that would be great!!!
  9. Why does this make no sense? Are you thinking that he has so much trade power, I don't get why this makes no sense. Please explain.
  10. If we do a lot of damage to our current roster with a tear-down, what big name free agent will want to come to Milwaukee? Burning this thing to the ground has a lot of pitfalls, and if we want to continue to have the ability to attract free agents like Ramirez, Greinke, etc, we better be careful. (Yes, I know Greinke wasn't signed as a free agent, but he will be one soon enough)
  11. Finally, someone else who can see he is pretty much worthless. What a shame it would have been to move Maldonado down just so Wolf could pitch to his buddy. So, what is Wolf gonna do now if we keep him? Pout, cry, refuse to pitch? Does this mean that there is a remote chance someone is going to take Wolf off our hands?
  12. That doesn't make him worse, might make him close to even, but not worse.
  13. But would aquiring Greinke and losing their starting SS and closer make them better? I don't think we can expect to take their starting SS and closer in the middle of a play-off push.
  14. How can anyone be worse than K-Rod? Seriously, how in the world can anyone be worse?
  15. When will those skills be applied? He has been a non-factor since April. I think too many people are remembering that month, and forgetting the fact that he is a horrible catcher defensively, and below average with the bat. To me, he has no value. If we can find a sucker to trade him to, DO IT NOW!
  16. Question is, would Yost have started Kotsay in CF, in one of the most important games this franchise has ever played? (with Gomez and Morgan on the bench)
  17. ListachRides = Hilarious board name! BRAVO!
  18. You guys really need to watch the post game press conference if you want to something truly amazing... stay tuned.
  19. Hey, at least we gave the Phillies a reason to think they are not out of it yet... We might be known as the team that set them up for an incredible run to finish the season, make the play-offs, and win the world series... If that were to happen, you can bet they would pinpoint this series as their turning point. Yay.
  20. Give Ax his job back. K-Rod may have ended his career this week, who in their right mind would give him a contract next year?
  21. In the real world, K-Rod no longer has a job, but in MLB fantasyland, he gets to keep doing the same exact nonsense day in and day out with the same result. I hate this season.
