  1. You guys got lucky... I have 13 bobbles, no papermakers. If anyone did pull 2 of them, I would be more than interested in aquiring it from you either by trade or purchase. PM me if you'd like to make a deal!!!! http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n136/turborickey/2012T-RatsOpeningDayBobbles002.jpg
  2. Heading out the door for the Timber Rattlers Opening Night surely does not bother me!
  3. Opening day with no Brewer game, that is REALLY bugging me! (Even though there have technically already been 2 other opening days/nights this season, which also bugs me, when did we stop having one official opening day anyway?)
  4. File sharing it is a good idea, however, I am weird, I have to own an actual copy of it to feel complete... I am the same way with music, I have to own an original copy of the cd. I am old school!
  5. Try these gems, no time to youtube them... Tiptoe Through The Tulips - Tiny Tim Amish Paradise - Weird Al Malchik Gay - t.A.T.u. Ding Fries Are Done Afternoon Delight - Starland Vocal Band Peaches - Presidents of the United States of America I Think I Smell a Rat - White Stripes Rubber Biscuit - Blues Brothers Dolls - Ace Frehley and if you want to bring out the big guns, try this one: Alaska - The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black
  6. Yet they couldn't give us a K-Rod bobblehead this year? That still angers me...
  7. The new Marlins unis don't look to bad on TV right now... I was expectig a lot worse.
  8. Yes, there is an entrance by Fridays, that is where I always go in.
  9. The fact that opening day is soooooo close is not bugging me one bit!
  10. I'll be looking for one too. They give one to each fan in attendance, correct?
  11. People who, while singing the National Anthem, mess with the way it is supposed to be done. Just watched Jose Feliciano butcher the National Anthem for the opening of the new Miami Marlins Stadium... I am a traditionalist when it comes to certain things, and the National Anthem is one of those things.
  12. My teams are always called: TURBO-Rattlers, a play on Timber Rattlers of course...
  13. After Thornburg got moved up to Brevard County last season, I sent the 8x10s there, not to the Timber Rattlers... I never got them back. I will try again this year and send them to Huntsville... How many can you send and not be asking too much of them? I sent Heckathorn 3 phptos, and he signed all 3.
  14. I'm gonna hit him up again once the season starts... If I sent it to spring training now, it might miss him. I did however get Heckathorn back last year, and I sent he and Thornburg the same stuff, on the same day... They weren't Timber Rattlers when I sent it out, they had just been moved up. I gave them a couple weeks to get settled in, then I sent the 8x10s. You just never know I guess. I'll try again.
  15. wow! I mailed him some 8x10s last season, and never got them back... When did you send it to him? I keep hoping he sends back mine, but I'm sure they either found the garbage or his personal collection...
  16. photo of the bobble, sorry it's so small... http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h11/numberonewadefan/bobbleheads/FangBobbleCar2.jpg
  17. I have received a few messages asking me what the t-rats do for bobble games. Here is some information that you might find useful. Another poster on this site called the front office to see how they would be distributing the bobbles, this is the information he relayed to me. There will be 4 gates, each gate will be labeled with the bobble they have in that line. 4 lines, a different bobble in each line. You will know exactly which bobble you are getting which is pretty nice. (Unless you draw the rare one, that will be a happy little surprise!) The rare one (250 of them) will be evenly distributed throughout the 4 lines randomly. I like the fact that you will be able to choose the line you want to go in and know which one you are getting. Will make it easier to get the 4 bobble set. (not including the rare one which only has 250) Also, in the past, you have to exit and re-enter for as many tickets as you have. It's a pain to do it this way, but they never give you a hard time about it. I would guess that this year will see even more people exiting and re-entering since there are so many to collect. I will have my family, so we will be going in 3 times to get 12 bobbles. Hopefully we draw the rare one, but I have my doubts with so few of them out there. They may have made 250 of the rare ones, but that doesn't mean there will be 250 of them at the gate. I would guess there will be fewer based on the fact they will probably be holding back quite a few full sets for future use, executives, whatever may be the case. Maybe 225 of them???? I was going to set up a check point for those of us who want to try and get the full sets via trade, but since you get the bobbles you want by choosing the line you want, there is really no need to do this. PLAY BALL!
  18. btw, it originally came with a plain white box if I remember correctly, but as I said above, I don't have the box.
  19. This is a rare one, and I came across an extra. If anyone still needs it and is willing to make a trade, let me know. Here are my needs, and would also trade it for any of the retros or alternates from this season. 20. I HATE the fact that he stuck with McGehee last year as long as he did. I hated it then, and thinking about it now still bugs the crap out of me. His stubborness lost us a few games between his constant bungling of Loe the first half, and the constant playing of Casey all season long. Those are the 2 things that irritate me even now. Personally, I don't think it took a great manager to get us to the playoffs last year, just about anyone could have done what RR did. A lot of guys could have won close to 100 games with that team, but not RR. In my opinion, we won in spite of Roenicke, not because of him. This year may be a different story though. If he makes all the same mistakes he made last season, we are in trouble. If he learns from his irrational stubborness from last year, we could possibly make the playoffs for a 2nd straight season. I just have no faith in the guy.
  21. ok then, that bobble was yours from the get-go! wish I had known that, you would have gotten it for $24.99 since it was only the 2 of us bidding.
  22. I was going to go all in on that one, but in the end, set my limit at $45... Just curious, how high were you willing to go?
  23. We could have saved you some cash had I known it was you I was bidding against...lol
