  1. ... the spring? Anyone have suggestions on how this can be done? Man, those springs are glued VERY solid to the necks of the bobbles.
  2. I'm guessing f/s = for sale.
  3. having one autograph of all the players you like is cool... having multiple autographs of the same player is not cool. I can hardly blame the players when some idiot shoves 10 cards in his face and wants them signed, they know they are going to be sold, and what do they get out of it? the entire hobby has become over-saturated to begin with, and as someone mentioned, people who act this way are ruining it for those who just want a sig from our favorite players...
  4. looks freaking awesome to me man! cudos!
  5. Players don't own the jerseys, the teams do. understood, but surely arrangements can be made so that the players have the opportunity to keep them, right?
  6. Don't these players ever KEEP their jerseys? I am always surprised at how many of these are available...
  7. that show is hilarious...
  8. if you want more ideas for this year's bobbles, here is a great thread for discussion: http://forum.brewerfan.net/viewtopic.php?t=14891
  9. thanks guys, that is what I needed to know... much appreciated!
  10. Have the dates been published yet for the 2009 SGA bobble give-aways? Thanks in advance!
  11. ok, well then, you can count me out...cool T though!
  12. if it's a brewer shirt, my 13 year old son would love to have it! I live in Appleton though, but would be happy to send you postage... Or if someone else wants it for pick-up, that's cool... no sweat.
  13. well, there goes any chance of a CC bobble for 2009... bummer http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3759182
  14. I can't remember, but I didn't look very closely after I saw that he wanted to sell all of them together...
  15. ok, I'll bring this thread back by making my final guess: 1. Gallardo - isn't he a given? 2. Parra 3. Brat or Italian Sausage (Duh?) 4. Bernie Brewer (isn't it time for another one?) 5. Jason Kendall 6. Mike Cameron - (if we keep him...) Would love to see a Greg Vaughn, but doubtful. Warren Spahn or Eddie Mathews would be AWESOME! I hope they do not do another Prince or Braun for now... Still holding out hope for a CC, but if we don't sign him, that is a pipedream I'm afraid. I don't want Suppan to be bobbleized, would just as soon forget that contract. It's like looking at the Hammonds bobble and being disappointed every time.
  16. I have done a lot of trading on this forum over the past year or so, and figured we should have a place where we can give other members a heads up on trading partners. It just seems that we need a place to publically anounce those awesome people that we trade with to feed our ridiculous habits! Here is a list of those who I had successful transactions with in the past. Some I bought bobbles from, some were trades through the mail. All of them are highly recomended and I would do business with again in a heartbeat! hall4president (H4P) Parkside Nick1212 Bobblefever Houlie24x RyDogg66 stoops17 Blancofan1 brewersbucks2323 hofcs bobblebrian apirk patrickgpe BrewerSuperCollector jschris StarsBooster jjkoestler paul253 brewcrew slobberknocker brains and braun YEP! - formerly known as BREWCREW5 brewerfan1982 Special mention to cheda108... 18. as long as people are stupid enough to pay those prices, this will continue...
  19. not me, the alternate versions are part of the problem with all the crap that goes on behind the scenes of the bobble collecting... I'd love to see them go away for good.
  20. nothing will stop the natural aging process of cheap newsprint... you could try laminating it, that would seal it, but not sure you'd want to do that with an auto... it isn't like that will ever be worth much, so lamination isn't a bad route. That would be the only way to completely stop the yellowing effect...
  21. dude, you carry a phillies cooler into brewer games? shame shame shame!
  22. No BUCS? Bummer...
  23. thanks man... I have clicked it, but never just scrolled over it. thanks again, one more little life mystery solved! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
