  1. Forgot to mention Billy Madison. Kept it, but like Big Daddy, could have dumped it. Still enjoy it so kept it.
  2. lol I don't own the third one, saw it, thought it was dumb, and didn't add it to the collection.
  3. Back to the thinning of the heard. Watched both Bill and Ted movies last week, and though there are some pretty funny lines and scenes throughout them both, I don't feel the need to see them again. Dumped them both.
  4. "Poor Things" was enjoyable as hell! I went because there wasn't anything else I wanted to see, and I left pretty glad I saw it. It's kind of a mess at times, but I found myself drawn to the entire storyline, and Emma Stone was unbelievable!!! Tons of gratuities sex scenes, but in all honesty, they were pretty much needed for the storyline, and done in sometimes pretty humorous ways. Might buy this on dvd to add to the collection...
  5. The senior fans are going to love this...
  6. I don't think anyone said that every team with a roof or warm weather should start out with a 2 week homestand. I'm talking about opening day series only. Surely, most teams would be happy to play where they know they will be playing (roof or warm weather) rather than having a good shot at being snowed, rained, or frozen out of opening day games.
  7. Good luck with both!
  8. Why doesn't MLB just make sure that all stadiums with a roof host on opening day?
  9. 10 years for a 28 year old catcher? ----------------------------------------- Will Smith and the Dodgers are finalizing a 10-year, $140 million extension, according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan. It’s a deal that will likely keep the 28-year-old in Los Angeles for the rest of his career. Smith was drafted by the Dodgers in the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft and will benefit from having the like of Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman hit in front of him this season. 10. Maybe Frelick, but not Wiemer and Mitchell at this point. I'm guessing Frelick could bring in a pretty decent pitching prospect, but we can't afford to move him now anyway.
  11. I just don't think that if we are still in a playoff hunt at the deadline, that we trade Adames at that time. If he is playing as great as you say, no way we unload him for prospects with the chance of another playoff appearance. If we are out of it, then yes, that could happen. If he is stinking, and we aren't in the hunt, I can see him getting traded, but if he is stinking, I doubt anyone wants him anyway.
  12. Brown at 3B? Do you mean Eric Brown Jr? I don't think that is an option at this point. Do you mean Black?
  13. Jeff Passan of ESPN reports that the Diamondbacks and free agent left-hander Jordan Montgomery have reached an agreement on a contract. The deal is pending a physical. Jon Heyman of the New York Post adds that it’ll be a $25 million deal, plus a $25 million vesting option for 2025 if he starts at least 10 games during the 2024 season. Montgomery will add depth to a Diamondbacks’ rotation that will be without new addition Eduardo Rodriguez (lat) for at least the first few weeks of the season. It’s also a nice landing spot for a fantasy perspective, as he should be in line to win plenty of ballgames and will have the tremendous outfield defense of the Diamondbacks chasing down fly balls for him. 14. You mean outright CUT Perkins? Yeah, I don't think that would be too wise.
  15. I just don't think our starting pitching is going to get the job done. Freddy goes down, we are screwed. I think we could win anywhere between 76 - 84 games, but for 84 to happen, a lot of things are going to have to go right. A couple more key losses for any length of time could really hurt us. Final prediction is 79 wins.
  16. Would love to know how he would have handled Hiura and his reverse splits...
  17. Wonder if we are going to go scrap heap hunting for another OFer in the next couple of days?
  18. I can't watch Wiemer flail around again, I just can't. He needs to stay in AAA if at all possible, but now that is looking unlikely unless they sign someone else from the scrapheap. Maybe Black gets his shot as an OFer?
  19. ahhhh yes, totally forgot about that... I wouldn't sign him, but it would have nothing to do with this.
  20. Please explain "moralists." Did Davies get into some trouble? I am unable to find anything like that.
  21. Well, Yelich, Chourio, Frelick would be our only outfielders if Perkins doesn't make it (assuming Mitchell is going to be out for a while) Wiemer hasn't earned a spot, and is far better suited to stay in AAA until injuries happen, which they will... You can't go in to the season with only 3 outfielders on your roster...It's either Perkins or Wiemer.
