  1. I have a double sink with a garbage disposal in my kitchen. When I run water for about 30 seconds, I get water backing up into each sink. I have disasembled the pipes and cleaned the traps, snaked down a good 25 feet, and poured in a bottle of Liquid Plummer foaming and still no luck. Is there anything else I can do short of hiring a plumber at this point?
  2. Pretty sure "Holly" is actually Allison Hannigan from American Pie and How I Met Your Mother fame.
  3. She's down by 100, but I believe she is the best looking of the 5. Hope she can pull it out.
  4. Fouling with under 5 seconds is a much better strategy especially with the new rules for lining up for free throws. Now that they line up further from the hoop, offensive rebounds on missed free-throws are extremely hard to come by. I expect more team to employ this strategy from now on.
  5. So Saturn never goes lower than what is on the sticker?
  6. So George blocks the trade and then proceeds to shoot 0-11 from the field and 0-2 from the line last night in 33 minutes. What an idiot. If he doesn't change his mind, it would be great to see him play about 2 minutes per game from now on.
  7. As I stated, I like Petty. But as a casual fan. There is a reason why he didn't play anything from Wildflowers because none of them are recognizable. Petty is a legend but the Super Bowl is just not the place for him. It was a concert and not a "show". The Super Bowl halftime show should have more entertainment value than that. Someone like Springsteen would be great because he would at least interact with the crowd and move around a little. Just my opinion.
  8. Yes, a little off base, 14 years instead of 17. Wildflowers had a couple good songs, none of which were played last night. I also just checked the Echo song list from 1999, zero hit or recognizable songs. MJs Last Dance was released 1/1/93.
  9. I like Petty, but he hasn't had a hit song in 17 years. That being said, the first half of the game was extremely boring with no scoring or exciting plays, and then you get Tom Petty standing in front of a giant sized microphone and moving about twice while singing songs that do nothing to really revive a bored crowd or the millions watching on TV. American Girl was great, but the other 3 songs were not exactly get out of your seat and dance songs. The halftime show should feature a performer of some sort. Not a 60 year old rock legend that just stands there and sings. Just my two cents.
  10. Temke, I have used Frankling Mechanical Corporation a couple times, once at each house, to work on my furnace. They were prompt and reasonaby priced. 414-761-2076.
  11. There are many different fish that taste really good depending on how it is prepared. I love Walleye, Perch, and bluegill, but the best fish I ever had was Grouper in Florida. It was coated with corn flakes dipped in butter. It was fantastic. I love a good fish fry and right now the best tasting fish from a restaurant is at Hawg City Grill on HWY 100 and Beloit in Greeenfield.
  12. The Ad's draw about 3,000 people to their home games. How are these 7 owners making any money. This probably helps. A friend of mine won the human hockey puck contest last weekwhere you get slinged across the ice into 6 bowling pins. His prize? A box of Uncle Ben's Chicken flavored rice. Nice.
  13. If I misquoted you, I apologize. Just so I am clear, you can only be a victim if your dead? So a victim of rape is not really a victim? So Heath's family, friends, and 2 year old daughter are not innocent victims? As a child, I would be devasted to have lost a parent, especially that early on. As a parent, I could not imagine losing either of my children that young. It would be devasting and I honestly do not know how I would cope with that. And just so I'm clear on this, depression and sleeping disorders are diseases. If he was taking pills, at least he was trying to overcome those problems. And all signs are still pointing to accidental. So again, I do not understand how you cannot feel any compassion for those in his life that he left behind. And why are we just limiting drug testing to those in Hollywood? Doesn't every employer has a resposibility to keep their employees safe? Should we all be tested on a monthly basis? And just what exactly do you plan on testing for? You cannot predict some will OD on painkiller or anti-depressants. Are people in Hollywood the only ones that are depressed and committ suicide or are those just the ones we here about. For every Heath Ledger, there are thousands of others that this happens to, but are not in the public eye.
  14. Also, there are thousands and thousands of actors in this country. Kind of tough to drug test all of them to make sure they are clean. Comparing steroids to painkillers, sleeping pills, or anti-depressants is also way off base. Steroids are being taken illegally to gain an upper hand in an individuals profession. Yet there is someone that is revering Chris Benoit but feels nothing for Heath Ledger and his now fatherless child. I too am trying to understand that.
  15. No offense, but the more you reply, the less sense you make. Vince McMahon knows that steroids are a big part of wrestling and the only thing that he ever did about it was to take them himself. There was no way to know that Heath was taking anything other than prescription drugs given to him by his doctor. Benoit was obviously taking illegal steroids and nothing was done about it until he took two people down with him. Lives were lost in both instances, making them equally as tragic.I pray that his child is able to grow up to be a normal functional human being.
  16. You just answered your own question. You should feel bad about this situation because of the pain and hurt it will cause so many people for so long. Don't feel bad for Heath if you don't want to, but it would be really heartless to not feel bad for everyone else that this affects. Just because you cannot understand why someone would do this and cannot find any sympathy within yourself, it does not make it any less tragic of a situation.
  17. I hope they deliver to Milwaukee.
  18. Over the weekend, stores have received several Wii's in stock so the market has now been flooded a bit. For people looking to get them for Christmas, I just checked ebay and you can get them for about $300 plus shipping. Also the J/S this morning has an article stating that Gamestop is giving our rainchecks to get them after Christmas if you can wait that long.
  19. I guess I don't view people that are trying to make a few extra bucks by being a personal shopper of sorts as wrong or immoral. If you are driving all over town and standing in line to get these and sell them for a profit of around $120.00(which is after shipping and all fees), and people are willing to pay that much for them instead of not having them at all, why is that a bad thing? I pay 7 bucks for a beer at a Bucks game. Does it suck? Yes. But if I want a beer, I have to fork out the 7 bucks. The people that are "overpaying" for the Wii's are just happy that they are getting them at all as evidenced in the prior post.
  20. I guess the point is that if you are not willing to pay extra for it, then don't get it. Obviously there is a secondary market for this as there are currently 15,000 for sale in EBAY and people are paying about $400.00 for each one. What about people that scalp tickets? It's supply and demand people. If Nintendo had enough of these things available, this would not have happened. But every year there is a hot item that you can't find anywhere but on the secondary market. Selling things for a profit has been around for many years now.
  21. I hardly think the average Joe that is taking advantage of the situation and selling a couple to offset the cost and help pay for Christmas is doing any harm compared to the power sellers on EBAY that do this for a living and have sold hundreds. By the way, EBAY is making about $25.00 on each Wii that is sold. Since they now own paypal, they are getting those fees as well. EBAY is making millions on the sale of Wii's.
  22. One for my son. One for my sister-in-law for my nephew, One for my wife's cousin for her daughter, and 1 to sell on ebay. Don't blame me for the supply and demand issue. There are people that live in areas that have no chance of finding them anywhere that are happy to pay more to get it for their children. Why is that a bad thing?
  23. Walmart has a truck come in every night but they never know if there are any Wii's on it. I got lucky a few times by being at the store at the right time and was able to buy a few. If there are some on the truck, they will usually get them in to the store to sell around 11-11:30 am. I believe Walmart is your best bet and unfortunately calling to ask if they have them doesn't work because whoever you talk to just never knows if they have them or not.
  24. Sounds like a prime opportunity to purchase some Rockies tickets and sell them on EBAY. Huge money making opportunity there.
  25. Yes, they do require that for a Saturday stay. I will be going on a Tuesday night.
