  1. Funny because I stumbled across Stubbs on the 4th of July Weekend as I wanted to try something new. They have it at Sendiks. I got the Smokey Mesquite and it was really good.
  2. I have no problem with the way it's been handled, and in many ways to me, knowing that he died makes it even more compelling to watch and that much more sad watching his kids reaction and how the other captains are reacting during this rare "reality TV" moment. Knowing that he did not survive this, makes me very teary eyed thinking about my own father and my kids while they are showing this footage. Yes his lifestyle and occupation clearly led to this result, but it does not make it any less sad.
  3. I believe that everyone had a "constant" and that person is the one that when contact was made that they would flash on their Island lives.
  4. Thermocouple was correct. My wife informed me that the father of my son's best friend does this on the side. It was a $10 part and pretty easy to replace now that I saw how it's done. I did not know how old the heater was since it came with the house 5 years ago, but it looks to be in solid condition so I wasn't sure if it needed replacing or if it was a simple fix. Hence not wanting to spend a hundred or two to find out I needed a new one. Thanks for the help guys.
  5. I need help with my water heater as the pilot light is not staying lit. Anyone have any experience with a good reasonably priced repair company?
  6. Just an FYI for other's looking for deals on older appliances. Check out freecycle.com. People that but new one's put their older working one's on there so that they don't prematurely go to a landfill. And they are all free.
  7. Speaking of Iceman, I got my dog a year ago and had a drunk friend suggest we name the dog Maverick. That instantly became his name. My last dog was a mini-dachshund that we named Woody. The kids just figured that name was because of Toy Story.
  8. Why would Tony blow up 95% of the cannisters just to keep one very small cannister. I had a feeling all along that Tony would be bad. But it still doesn't add up. Still hoping he is still somehow good. There is still a lot of loose ends to tie up so these last few episodes should be solid.
  9. Does anyone else's head hurt right now?
  10. I too am guessing the GFI needs to be reset. I had an outlet in my spare bathroom that stopped working and I was baffled as to why. A couple weeks later I pressed the red reset button on the outlet in my other bathroom across the house and that solved the problem.
  11. I think Justin Timberlake would make an excellent host. He was good on the first show and did excellent impersonations of John Mayer and Michael McDonald. Robert Di Niero was a terrible first guest. It just felt uncomfortable because he didn't really have anything to say. Fallon is not great, but he'll be ok after a few weeks of jitters.
  12. Sounds like perhaps a circus performer of some type. Maybe a trapeze or tightrope walker?
  13. Was her occupation related to the fall?
  14. Did she die in a body of water? Did she die from a fall? Did the music stopping cause her death?
  15. There is a chance you could lose both depending on what you are picking. Also, you would need to have 500k to bet 500k.
  16. This is an ESPN contest that costs nothing to do. You need to get 25 picks in a row to win 1 million dollars. The premise is simple. There are several choices every day, but you can only pick one at a time. You can make another pick after the first pick has been completed. A couple have gotten to 24 straight and lost, but someone just won the million yesterday on the Steelers victory. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=3752917
  17. I believe that Turtle is dating Jamie Lynn Siegler in real life. Ari lost in the mountains after they were all doing mushrooms was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time.
  18. Not sure I would put this on my top 10 list, but currently The Big Bang Theory is my favorite sitcom on right now. I don't think that show gets the credit it deserves. And be sure to pause it at the end when the producer posts a hilarious rant. You need to pause it because it is usually long and only on for about 2 seconds.
  19. I wouldn't worry about the charger. I just put in some new cheap batteries every couple of weeks and that does the trick. The Wii has been awesome since I got it for my 6 year old last Christmas. We play it together almost every day for a least a little while on a lot on the weekends. We can play games together like the all the Lego one's, the Simpson, and currently Spiderman. To me, the Wii is just a lot of fun and easy for kids and females that are not usually into video games. Also, I highly recommend getting a blockbuster mail subscription. Included in that is one free movie or game rental per month. We basically rent a new game for free every 2 weeks and play it until we get through it, usually about 2 weeks later. All you pay is a $1.25 restocking fee.
  20. Take the cat to the vet. It could have a urinary tract infection that flares up, causing it to not want to pee in ther litter box because they will start to associate the litter box with the pain. Nothing, I mean nothing smells worse than cat urine.
  21. Just read in the paper about a brand new one this year next to Paulos's Pizza at 51st and Howard. Monster Mash or something like that. There are charging $12.00 so it better be good. There was a story that the guy took out a second mortgage on his house to start this up and his wife decided to let him do it because is was his life's dream.
  22. Thanks guys. That's what I figured. It's just ridiculous that Sony has a product out that is less than 5 years old that they decided not to make parts for anymore. What a waste of a perfectly good TV. I would like to go bigger, but the room this is in is smaller and is currently shelved on a corner entertaiment center and I don't want to have to buy a new one of those as well. I will check out the Toshiba for sure.
  23. There is indeed a problem with the main power supply board. Since Sony has not made plasma's since this model came out in 2003, they is no part availble which is crazy. The place I took it to said that they may be able to manually fix it and that it would cost $400.00. If I agreed to it and he is unable to fix it, then there is no charge. Let me say that everything else with this TV is excellent including the picture. Now the question is wether this is worth it to me to have it fixed since it is already 5 years old. Let me also state that I won this TV from a radio contest and all it cost me was a couple hundred in taxes since this TV retailed for $4000 back then. So the question is this, should I have it fixed?
  24. Pretty sure Sheet's is the all-time leader in games started and leaving early due to injury. Hopefully he'll be back because we need him to make a run at this, but I'm not counting on it.
  25. Once again I turn to Brewerfan for some repair help. I have a 32" Sony plasma TV that is about 5 years old. Recently after about 10 minutes of watching, it will start flickering and then will turn itself off and on continuously. Any idea what could possibly be causing this?
