  1. Is it just me or have this season's in game threads been more contentious than prior years. Brewers gotta put a run together to restore the peace!
  2. These games can get depressing so fast. He's killing my fantasy team!
  3. I'm encouraged by the multiple comebacks. It would have been easy for the hitters to get discouraged, but they kept battling back. Losses happen, just stinks that it was against the Reds for the umpteenth time.Yeah, that sums up what I'm thinking. This one mostly 'hurts' because it was the Reds, and I think Gallardo probably will get back on track.
  4. All things considered, I don't think it was as discouraging a loss as it might have been.
  5. If they lose, I'm going to put most of the blame on Gallardo giving up 4 in the first and going only 5+. Anything RRR did today is what most managers would have done. I think it's reasonable to question that school of managing, but I don't think there is anything that makes this an 'RRR' stamped loss. Edit: I am aware that Dusty didn't follow that general rule in this game, but that's just Dusty being Dusty.
  6. Referring to posts I've made above, I hope that I'm wrong about Gallardo, and I assume that I probably am. These last few starts are probably nothing more than a few bad starts. Nonetheless, I don't think he's ever looked as hitable as he has the last few starts.
  7. He's had at least 200 k's the last 2 years...pretty sure he has an out pitchI agree. I'm just not sure he's got it anymore. I know rough stretches happen, but this has been quite rough.
  8. This is true, and he's had some pretty bad outings before this season. I think what's worrisome here is that since that start against ATL he's been very hittable with only a few smooth innings let alone games. It's one thing to lose, it's another to struggle so much to get outs. If I remember right, he pitched relatively well against the Reds opening day.
  9. Yo doesn't have an out pitch. His fastball doesn't seem to move much, and he doesn't throw the curve for strikes very often. Hitters just have to get ahead in the count and look for a fastball. All of this equals a lot of hits and a lot of pitches. I'm more than a little concerned.
  10. Missed most of the game tonight. Got home just in time to see that last inning. And now I get to watch Axford.
  11. Yep, it's totally f frustration. I feel for him. Lately I've been wondering when he'll start demanding a trade.
  12. I really don't like how often BA recaps what happened so frequently. It really grates in games like this. I just watched them blow it, and I don't need to be reminded.
  13. Agree that it was frustration from Braun. Trying to do anything to get a win. Still, it's a terrible play and he's got to do better than that.
