  1. When I saw this, there were about 10 people who yelled out D-Bow when he came on the screen.
  2. If they're doing a deal for Taschner because of a short leash for Stetter, why wouldn't they bring up someone like Choate instead of making a trade?
  3. Football for breakfast is really sweet. You can get through all the games and still can do things in the afternoon, as opposed to wasting the entire day like I do now that I am on the east coast. In other news, CRUSH THE GIANTS!
  4. Better? http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l359/johnniegott/typo.jpg
  5. The typo bug strikes again!...
  6. I go to school in DC with a bunch of Five Guys and I just don't get the big deal about it. Yeah they are greasy (using it as a good thing, especially on Saturday mornings after going out Friday night) and the fries arent bad, but the burger itself is not amazing. It seems like I could make the same burger at home with not much effort. However, In-N-Out is by FAR the best fast food burger. I live out in San Diego and everytime I go home for school breaks the first place I stop on the way home is In-N-Out.
  7. From UniWatch, here is everything you need to know about All-Star Jerseys.
  8. That seems to be a pretty convincing argument. I would be surprised if it wasn't Dodger Stadium considering the 50th anniversary and all.
  9. 5....5 Dollar....5 Dollar Foot LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONGS!
  10. Do you think he's a better hitter than Brooks Kieschnick?
  11. NLE: Mets NLC: Cubs NLW: Dodgers WC: Brewers
  12. Has anyone else had sleep paralysis? This happened to me once last year and it was honestly the scariest thing I think I have experienced. Basically my eyes opened and I had consciousness of my surroundings, but my body could not move. I tried yelling out to my roommate, but no words would come out. I think I was "awake" for maybe a minute or two before I went back to sleep.
  13. I think its some of that "Secret Stuff" that Bugs Bunny used in the movie Space Jam. I don't know why that reference was the first thing that popped into my head, but oh well.
  14. You'd think ESPN could update the pic of JDLR. It's kinda weird that a "Brewers" pitcher is pitching to Hardy.
  15. That was my first reaction. However, Gallagher is young and could improve, but looking at immediate impact to the A's, I pondered if Bush and 3 low prospects could have seriously got Harden from the A's.
  16. I'm a bit surprised that the A's wanted to do the deal so quick. They are only 3.5 games back in the wild card. I would think if they wanted to make a push for the playoffs, they would probably need Harden. Beane must have been REALLY concerned about Harden's health issues b/c this doesn't seem to make sense to do the deal so soon
  17. Cubs get: Harden, Gaudin A's get: Gallagher, Patterson, Murton, Josh Donaldson I think the Cubs fleeced(As usual) the A's. Obviously this all hinges on Harden staying healthy, but I think the Cubs gave up way less to acquire a pitcher comparable to CC when healthy. I've never seen the love for Murton. I know he's never really got a chance with the Cubs, but from what I've seen, he's no can't miss prospect. Gallagher is ok, but nothing special...same with Patterson. Aparently Donaldson is a C with great OBP skills, but is still far away from the majors. I think if Harden stays healthy, the Cubs got a WAY better deal than the Brewers
  18. That new song by the Pussycat Dolls "When I Grow Up" has by far the dumbest lyrics I have ever heard.
  19. Campillo'd http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  20. Wierdos, looking at your speculation for the packages, I would think the Brewers would have about the 3rd best package, with 1st being Kemp & Kershaw, and then the Sox, then us. I think the Brewers should be targeting Sabathia, even though we would have to give up a LaPorta or Gamel. But do you really think any package including Hall and Bush would be attractive? I don't see the Indians viewing their inclusion as any plus to the deal.
  21. Saw this on MLB Trade Rumors If the C.C. Sabathia trade rumors were a horse race, he writes, as of today these teams would be the favorites: 1. Milwaukee Brewers 2. Chicago Cubs 3. Los Angeles Dodgers 4. Texas Rangers 5. Boston Red Sox
  22. Yeah God Shamgod and Rusty Kuntz are my two favorites. Get me laughing every time!
