  1. Hey. I'd love to get one of these to stick on my fridge. I'd be happy to send somebody something or perhaps payment. I've got a stack of AZ DBacks 09 magnetic schedules from their opener if anyone wants to trade. Or might have other fun stuff AZ sports related. http://i2.photobucket.com...25/pepsimax23/magnet.jpg ps. sucks to be a thousand miles from wisconsin but it is nice that the brewers train in maryvale and the pack will be here twice to play the cards.
  2. i didnt realize they were faking M&N. i know the chinese knockoffs basically look real. before the NFL season, i'd heard of someone picking up a larry fitzgerald for $10 (plus $30-ish s/h). which is like a wash.
  3. i just put a bid on this & having some second thoughts (considering how i've got a #23 powder blue jersey M&N already). i bid $31 on it, i figured there might be someone who might want it more. this should end up being a bargain! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&item=370171833625
  4. confirmed on the hat. white st pats stuff? not sure, i saw green shirts today along with various st pats hats.
  5. heres a pic of braun in the #18 from CNNSI photo gallery http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/multimedia/photo_gallery/0903/mlb.baseball.classic.team.usa/images/opi6-8411-mid.jpg and here is my photoshopped version of the ocho. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y25/pepsimax23/opi6-8411-mid.jpg
  6. neither braun or victorino are wearing #8. michael barrett wore 'the ocho' in '06 WBC. http://web.worldbaseballclassic.com/rosters/index.jsp?team=usa&season=2009 http://web.worldbaseballclassic.com/rosters/index.jsp?team=usa&season=2006
  7. i've seen some green at the team shop in maryvale, i live in glendale so i'll be out there at least 6 more times this month. i saw a green visor with the old MB logo, but for $25 - prob too expensive for my blood. and i'll likely kick myself if i dont buy. i got the green MB hat from 07, green brewers jersey in 08, and likely the green jacket in 09. http://mlb.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pMLB2-5080687dt.jpg
  8. fortunately, i picked one of the powder blue ones at that marlins game in 03. funny that just last week, she reminded me of her aggrivation of when we walked in and out to grab a few extras (over 5 years ago!!!). this was way before the wave of popularity, i picked up a few extra tix for $5 / each. if i somehow had that one on my want-list, i wouldnt hesitate to pick one up for $100 "buy-it-now". i agree that $76 / $80 are decent pickup prices for the lucky bidders.
  9. thats a great deal razzzor. i'd take it if i was in town.
  10. ahhhh. finally. braun fist pump? not bad. i wonder if they also considered the rob deer or ed sedar fist of fury!
  11. Does anyone know immediately what I'm talking about? I am curious if this guy is out there. Perhaps he's a lurker, perhaps he's a poster, perhaps he hasnt found the BF board yet and might consider joining the trading post. I've become a big-time nutcase bobblehead collector. And years before I got the bug. I attended an offseason clubhouse garage sale at miller park. I think the year was 2003. Anyways, my goal was to get into the dugout for a few fun photo opps in the snow. But an unexpected highlight was to see his hundreds of bobbleheads in thie office. I wonder if he's still there. I'm sure this guy would never give any of those up. It was years back, so my memory is a bit dim. But I think I had a conversation with the guy and he was saying that other equipment managers, MLB employees, etc. They all take care of each other season after season. How cool. I bet that dude spends a lot less and gets a lot more than the civilian like us. Curious if anyone else has seen this. Or heard of anything like this. One time reading news on google, I read about an equipment manager for Houston Astros. He's got probably a thousand. Probalby to no surprise, some MLB players are also collectors. Now that I live in Arizona, I was watching a DBacks program where Dan Haren was talking about his bobblehead collection.
  12. the higuera contract killed the brewers 80s mojo.
  13. maryvale preseason SGA days 2009 2/28 - Barrelman bobblehead 3/22 - more leftovers from 2008
  14. anybody know the SGA days at maryvale? i love that the brewers pass out stuff to early fans at 51st & indian school. on another note - whos coming to spring training?? whos coming to practice before spring training??
  15. bonnie brewer pat listach ed sedar italiano tony gwynn jr bill schroeder
  16. agony. the suspense is killing me!!!
  17. i've met sallifish & razzorsharp. so much fun to meet w/ ppl on the board. i hope to complete a deal yet w/ BHF.
  18. i'd be disappointed if the brewers had less than 6 bobbleheads / year. and if they didnt offer the alternate uniforms release.
  19. i hope the brewers bring back the powder blue in '09.
  20. wow. that is cool to find out that there actually is a variant. there was suspicions that maybe some collectors were painting the white ones to increase the value. bobblehead business gets more interesting by the minute. that third party which made a purchase of 150 braunies at cost, they likely knew they could make a 8X profit.
  21. we've seen the bobble-finger. http://cgi.ebay.com/Houst...ZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem what we havent seen is the bobble-fistpump.
  22. i'm curious what the collectors would think if the milwaukee brewers were to honor their first base coach. i think it could be an absolute classic. maybe a combined SGA with dale sveum. or a nesting doll set with simba & yost. i have a friend whos probably the #1 ed sedar fan in the world. yep, he ordered himself and a couple of us custom made #6 tshirt jerseys. and whenever we see each other, we give each other a fist pump - with the same technique ending in a "double thumbs up" like he does to any player who reaches first base. is it just us weirdos in phoenix who have observed this? maybe? i think the best comment i ever heard, was someone who said "who is that first base coach, it looks like someone was pulled off of the parking lot tailgate early and put on a brewers uniform."
  23. my dream: bernie brewer bobble with a limited release of bonnie. or how about some kind of bobblehead figure with a chalet and beer stein, that would be remarkably the coolest ever. i'm not going to hold my breath for: 3TO, rally rabbit, or diamond dancer. no way we will ever see jim powell, rock schroeder, brian anderson, doug melvin. i think a bobblehead dedicated to a "brewer fan" would be a nice touch. a racing sausage is due, likely the italian. save the brat for last. 2 bobbles for starting pitchers are a sure thing. esp considering that the 2 bullet aces will depart. i suppose a full-sized manager is a possibility but seems unlikely as yosts approval rating has never been a strength. my buddy finkelmeyer would lobby hard for an eddy sedar bobble fist pump. ryan "the ocho" braun gets a repeat if he wins a big reward (ws mvp, hr king) heres my guess: 1) yo gallardo 2) manny parra 3) craig counsell (hometown hero) (i imagine he gets cirillo'ed this offseason) 4) starting outfielder (maybe mike cameron) (limited release untucked shirt) 5) mascot racing sausage - italian 6) retro player: milwaukee braves great eddie mathews
  24. hey zachlaka. ygm. interested in bucky!
  25. hi. if anyone has an extra square cooler bag from saturdays game - i'd love to trade you for it! what i have to offer? i've got some unusual brewers memorabelia that could be interesting. 45 records of "brewer fever" and "turning on the heat".. miller park inaugural season puzzle.. digging deep into my parents house there are inaugural miller park game program / all-star game program.. snow globes of miller park / county stadium. and of course assorted bobbleheads from years past.
