  1. Sling TV just added the FSN Regional networks. Anyone try it?
  2. No offense but I am very confused by people who think players taking pitches is more entertaining to watch. I just love all the nuances of a long at-bat. I look at each at-bat as a mini chess game between the hitter and the pitcher. Each one to trying to anticipate what the other is going to do. Each pitch can change the match up to one or the other's favor. Watching a guy hack at the first pitch is both frustrating and boring to me.
  3. Yeah, it's amazing how badly booked this Wrestlemania is. Obviously, injuries hurt with Rollins, Cena and Orton all out. Even though, just take the top three matches and reshuffle the lineup and see how much better it looks on paper: After Seth's injury, turn Roman heel, have him become the new Corporate Champ, screwing Ambrose in the finals of the tournament for the vacant title at last year's Survivor Series. This leads to Ambrose winning the Rumble and getting this rematch against his former friend. Instead of running Taker vs. Lesnar III at last year's Hell in a Cell, save it for Mania. Have Shane face Triple H for control of the company, the guy that actually took his spot as heir to the throne. Doing Shane vs. Taker makes zero sense whatsoever. While we're at it, make the giant mess of a ladder match the US Title match, since I don't know a single person who cares at all about Kalisto vs. Ryback. Then give Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn a one-on-one match for the IC Title, since that match has been built up for over a year now in NXT. This lineup, along with the Divas triple threat, which is the only match they've booked right, is a Wrestlemania I'd be excited to see.
  4. This makes me very excited, Brewers and Bucks games are the only reason I haven't cut the cord yet. It's just like a regular TV service, so no games are blacked out. However, when I look at the channel lineup with my zip code it shows as FS Detroit. They have a seven day free trial, so I'm going to try and see. I'll be very upset if FS Wisconsin isn't offered but all of the other local FS are. The FS channels are only local and are dependent on where your IP address is placing you. If your IP address is placing you in Michigan you will only get FS Detroit. There are a couple of ways to change this you can use a proxy which I don't believe will work with PS Vue or you will have to get a VPN I haven't tried this but this is more likely to work than anything else but no guarantee on that. I just started my trial on this and I am not sure if you can or can not watch Bucks/Brewers games. There is a 7-day free trial I would just start the free trial on the day that you know there is a game that will be aired and see if it works on that day. The worst that happens is that it doesn't work and you can cancel the subscription at no cost other than the time you put in. I'm in the Fox Valley, and it doesn't go by IP address, it goes by zip code. Looks like for some reason Western Wisconsin gets MN, Northeast Wisconsin get Detroit, and Milwaukee gets nothing. Wisconsin isn't offered at all. Looking at the Sony forums, there appears to be issues with a lot of FS networks missing. Hopefully they get it figured out because the day FS Wisconsin is offered is the day I cancel cable.

  6. UWGB knocked off top seed Valparaiso in the Horizon League Tournament last night and face Wright State tonight on ESPN for the Championship. The last time GB made it to the NCAA Tournament was 1996.
  7. It's not so much that they want you to go to the game, it's that MLB is making gobs of money on TV deals. Sports are one of the few things left that are DVR-proof, people want to watch them live, so networks are willing to pay a premium for the right to air the games. MLB doesn't want to hurt that revenue source by allowing people who live in the market to cancel cable and stream the games. That's why they only allow out of market streaming. If you're in Arizona, you're not hurting FS Wisconsin's ratings by streaming because you don't have access to it. The big issue is getting rid of blackouts for areas that don't have access to the game locally. Like in CheezWizHed's example above, Iowa is considered the home market for six different teams. That would be fair if they got all six of those teams' games locally, but they don't, so the blackout there makes no sense.
  8. Which makes it still pointless. If I have to have a cable subscription the MLB app should be free. It is. You won't be streaming them through the MLB app, you'd be streaming them through the Fox Sports Go app, just like you can for Bucks games.
  9. Try holding your nose and blowing your nose at the same time. My ears always get plugged up bad when I fly, and that always works for me.
  10. The simple solution would be to allow people with tickets to the game to either exchange them for tickets to the new date or to a 2016 game, whichever they choose.
  11. The notification I got through the NBA app was all three, MCW, Ennis and Plumlee coming to the Bucks.
  12. Knight traded to Suns, didn't see this coming: http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2015/2/19/8071677/brandon-knight-trade-michael-carter-williams-suns-bucks-sixers
  13. Speaking of things that drag on forever, is there a danger that the Brewers will start getting bumped off of FSN at the end of the NBA season since the Bucks might actually be playing for something? No, they created the FSN alternate channel a few years ago so they can air both games at the same time.
  14. Man, what a win tonight. In Toronto, Knight is out with injury, Mayo gets himself ejected like an idiot in the first half leaving only eight available players, and they still manage to grind it out. Impressive.
  15. Lind is one of the best hitters in baseball vs. right handed pitching, hopefully they just make Lucroy his platoon mate.
  16. Once again Gorzelanny with the 0.46 ERA in garbage time. Why is he not above Duke and Smith on the depth chart?
  17. Runner on 3rd, 2 out, all we need is a base hit to bring it within a run and we send up the guy with a .198 average.
  18. Please score a run, K-Rod vs. Rizzo does not fill me with confidence.
  19. Diamondbacks now trying to beat the Pirates in Tough Guy Points. Arizona is fast becoming my second most hated team behind the Cardinals. Kirk Gibson is garbage, guys like him and Matheny have no place managing a team.
  20. Not sure what the replay umpires were looking at, he was clearly out, but I'll take it.
  21. No, you don't have to pay the $40, you can try and raise the money if you don't want to pay it yourself. You also get to run the race, as well as get the race perks involved, the tech shirt, the finisher's medal and the free game ticket. But if you're not a runner and are in it solely for the bobble, I'd pay the price for the 10K instead of the half, though prices go up $10 after July 31.
