  1. The goal is to keep it flat. That was not the goal. The goal was to flatten the curve which would buy the hospitals some time to prepare for the onslaught (which we can see is likely not coming now). It was not to sit in perpetual lockdown until our overlords say it’s safe to come outside. Sorry, I meant to say the more woke “safer at home” phrase. The onslaught hasn't come because safer at home is working. If you open things back up without widespread testing available to keep it contained you run the risk of the onslaught arriving.
  2. Heads up for anyone interested, Hader's first games in the Show Players League are tonight at 8. You can watch via his Twitch stream: https://www.twitch.tv/Jhaderade
  3. MLB Players are doing a league in the Show. Each team is represented by one player, for the Crew it will be Hader. 29-game season, one game against each team, three-inning games, streaming live each night at 8, starting tonight. Hader's first games are on Monday. It least it's kind of like baseball. https://www.mlb.com/playersleague
  4. From the FAQ section on Pick N Save's website: Are tips accepted for Pickup? While the gesture is appreciated, our associates do not accept tips.
  5. Article on ESPN: https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/28951069/mlb-union-weighing-variables-related-potential-restart-season Some interesting quotes: Multiple players told ESPN they are willing to play a significant number of doubleheaders -- as many as two a week -- to make up for lost games and try to get as close to a full 162-game schedule as possible. While the sides have discussed myriad options for a potential season, both agree that if necessary, regular-season games could stretch into October and playoff games could be played at neutral sites in November, either in warm-weather cities or, if government officials allow indoor events, domed stadiums, according to sources.
  6. NBA just suspended the season after Rudy Gobert tested positive for the virus. Can't imagine the MLB starting the season in two weeks.
  7. They announced late last night a temporary extension while they continue to negotiate a long term deal.
  8. Extremely friendly. Best part is you just subscribe to a team and it records every game for you, regardless of time or channel, so any nationally televised games on ESPN, FOX, TNT, FS1, etc. are automatically recorded as well. It also accounts for long games and records the entire thing, so if the Brewers go 15 innings it will record the entire game for you, not just the three-hour window the game was earmarked for.
  9. The WWE one being more expensive has me hoping that it actually is Andre choking Uecker, since that would be a bit more elaborate than a normal bobble. Really, really hoping this is the case.
  10. Nope, glad it's not just me.
  11. This. Once you have 32 teams go to two divisions of eight in each league. Two division winners and four wild cards, resulting in two wild card games in each league.
  12. Yes, on the Theme Nights page. Makes sense as he's in the WWE Hall of Fame. It would instantly become the greatest bobble ever released if it was Andre the Giant choking him at WrestleMania IV as seen in my avatar.
  13. Looking at those powder blue shirseys, why aren't they an actual uniform? Just beautiful.
  14. If they expand to 32 teams, they should do two eight team divisions in each league. That way you have two division winners and four wild cards in each league so you get four wild card games.
  15. At this point Rock is an institution, he's been doing this job for 25 years now. Pretty much anyone 30 and under only know Brewer baseball with Rock calling the games on TV. I think this job is his until he decides to stop.
  16. Kudos to the Dodgers organist who played the Simpsons theme last night when Burnes came to bat and Come Dancing tonight when Davies came to bat.
  17. I absolutely love these Cardinal unis. I'd love it if the Brewers brought back the the powder blue for an alternate uniform.
  18. I could easily see Gio used as an extra lefty in the pen today too.
  19. A walk, two strikeouts and a fly out and Soria only threw 11 pitches. Pretty impressive after that first batter, I'd send him out there for the 7th.
  20. MLB rules require a pitcher to face at least one batter before being removed from a game.
  21. Anderson has a 1.13 ERA against the Cubs in 24 IP this season, I'd start him and keep Peralta on the ready.
