  1. I think just the opposite, I love hats with a front white panel. I'm not a big hat guy, but I might have to pick one of those up.
  2. So has everyone just written Narveson off?
  3. FYI, in Badenhop's only start against the Brewers he gave up 2 runs in 5.2 and got the win.
  4. They were handing them out at the register. Every 25th person to checkout got a free one. Pretty sure that was the only way to get one. I just got lucky, which I'm usually not.
  5. I was lucky enough to be the 575th person to checkout, so I got a champagne bottle. That was worth the trip alone. I thought the clothes selections were much better than in previous years. As someone who loves the 90s uniforms, I got a green 90s style Braun number tee, along with another green shirt and green hat with the 90s logo on it.
  6. Well I submitted mine, though it's not on the website yet. I originally tried to come up with a new logo, but I quickly remembered I have no artistic ability once I saw how bad it looked. Really wish they allowed more than one submission per person, as there were so many different directions I considered going with it. My love of teal/aqua eventually won out, but now I'm worried it looks too much like the Rays.
  7. Definitely not my thing, but it's nice to see them using Miller Park to hold events other than baseball. Milwaukee needs to start making bids to try and get a future Wrestlemania there.
  8. You're right, 3 is probably Hart, I was thinking that was a mustache, but now that I look closer it's probably just long hair in back.
  9. If you go to this website, they have silhouettes of each players. #5 is a obviously a sausage, #3 looks like Gorman, can't really tell who anyone else is.
  10. All four Division Series go the full five, has that ever happened before? Glad to see my hopes for a Washington/Baltimore World Series are still alive for one more day.
  11. David Ross asks for time before a 1-2 pitch and was granted it right before the pitch was thrown, but Ross still swings and misses for what would have been strike 3 to end the inning. Next pitch Ross crushes for a 2 run HR. Can't wait to hear the Classies whine about that one.
  12. I'm not exactly sure what you are looking at man....She is stunning! Trenni >>>>>> Sophia This, and it's not close. Sophia's voice is like nails on a chalkboard for me, I can make it around 3 seconds before I have to mute the TV.
  13. Did anyone run the Brewers Mini this past Saturday? I started running last summer, this was my first half marathon, and my legs were not prepared. I had gotten up to 10 miles in training and never had any issues, but those last three miles just killed me. Stamina wise I was fine. It was perfect running weather, 50s and overcast, I was never out of breath, but my calves were just hating me by mile 11. I pretty much couldn't walk at all for the rest of Saturday, was somewhat better yesterday, but today is the first day I feel back to normal. The race itself was fantastic and well run. The best parts of the course was going through Miller Valley and Miller Park. The finisher's medal is amazing, the tech shirt is very nice, and the free ticket is a loge level which was better than I expected, I figured it would be terrace. All in all, well worth the price of the entry fee. I wish I could have enjoyed more of the post race stuff, but I was in so much pain I just wanted to get home ASAP. Of course, I realize I'm addicted to running when I go from hating life and wondering why I put myself through this for the first couple of hours following the race to looking forward to doing another one once the pain subsided. The only real issue with the race was due to the course, the lots behind the stadium were closed and the only entrance being used was Mitchell Blvd. Even though it was only 5000 runners, when there's only one entrance it caused major traffic backups. I was coming from the Fox Valley, made it to I-94 around 6:20 and barely parked by 7:00. If the race hadn't been delayed due to the lightning I might not have made the start, and there were a ton of cars behind me still waiting to get in.
  14. A Schafer/Gomez platoon looks really nice for next season.
  15. Wow, that run is HUGE. Thought for sure the inning was over.
  16. This happens every year? How have I never noticed this? It's been happening for the last few years, not sure when exactly it started. It's because the season is 26 weeks and each team has to play 52 series, but due to the All-Star Break they have to have one week out of the season where each team plays three series, thus squeeze week was born.
  17. Squeeze week is the week in May where every team in baseball plays two two-game series, one on Monday-Tuesday and another on Wednesday-Thursday.
  18. I really like that they are using squeeze week for the home-and-home interleague rivarly series as well. What I don't like is the first game is a night game. A night game on Memorial Day? Lame.
  19. Weird that the second game of the season is scheduled for 1:10 while game three is 7:10. Also of note Oakland makes their first trip to Miller Park and the Brewers make their first trip to Safeco Field. Oakland is the only team never to visit Miller Park and Safeco is the only stadium the Brewers have never played in.
  20. Gee Ron, and Henderson was doing so well too... http://oi45.tinypic.com/oqvoup.jpg
  21. ESPN only picked up this game two weeks ago, the only Sunday night games they have to pick before the season are the April and May ones. However, they do have to pick three games a week after that and when the time comes pick from one of those three. The other two games they earmarked this week were Cubs/Dodgers and Diamondbacks/Phillies, so they didn't have much to choose from.
  22. So I was watching the US Women's Water Polo match when I realized it was 1:20 and I flipped over to FSN only to find Brewers Classics. I look here and realize the game is tonight. Really? ESPN picked this game? Did they figure everyone would be watching the Olympics so they're just waving the ratings white flag? It's just funny that last year during our NL Central Championship season we didn't get a single Sunday Night game but this year after we're long out of it we get one.
  23. NBC, MSNBC and NBC Sports all air a mishmash of events. CNBC is all boxing, Bravo is all tennis, and there are two additional channels created specifically for the Olympics called Olympics Basketball and Olympics Soccer which obviously only air those two sports.
  24. Wow, that's a way better return than I ever thought we'd get for Kottaras. Very pleased with these last two moves by DM.
