What is he supposed to do against a tough RHP and no Durham? I'm no fan of Counsell, but at least he has been working the count and drawing walks. Its pretty obvious to me that Dale is trying to put some veteran guys at the top to try to get some men on for Braun (if he ever gets going) and Prince. Typically I would agree with you, but under the circumstances I really don't see what other options he has. He's in a pretty tough spot with the injuries and all

Here's the way I am choosing to look at it today: 1. We have CC going and I will take my chances with him against anyone 2. The Braves have the advantage in the pitching matchup today against the Mets (Campillo-3.79 ERA vs Pedro Martinez-5.47 ERA) Hopefully Campillo pitches the way he pitched against us all year 3. The Marlins are facing a mediocre pitcher in Joe Blanton and the Fish are hot and scoring runs with the best of them In conclusion, a Brew Crew win today coupled with a Philly loss (and even better, a Mets loss too!) and we are only 1 game back with 7 to go. Does that sound so dire? I don't think it does. I know things have been horrible lately, but thats just how fast our fortunes can turn around. Take care of your own business by winning TODAY, and hope for the best on the scoreboard. Anything can happen. GO CREW!!! -

Bold Prediction: The Mets are going to lose their game yet tonight to Atlanta, and with CC and presumably Big Red going tomorrow and sunday, we take these next two against a Reds lineup that has used up most of its runs for the series and come our off day monday, we will be right back in the thick of things. I thought McClung looked great yesterday

I don't make decisions based on one series. Both Durham and Weeks have been hitting pretty well. Durham has had hamstring problems this season and I think it is best he only plays a couple times a week. I will no longer be reading or responding to your pots because I consider "get real" rude and not really necessary to make your point.If "get rea"l is rude to you I apologize. I didn't mean it to be. It was the same to me as saying "c'mon". I agree with what you are saying about Durham being a little long in the tooth and all that, but its the last 2 weeks of the season and I have absolutely no problem with Dale sending his best 9 out there the rest of the way against all RHP during that stretch to try to get the team to the postseason. How can you fault a guy for trying to win with his best lineup? I cant. Hindsight it 20-20
