  1. Thats what I like to hear! Ueck had me thinking Braun had hit another double
  2. I don't quite think he's garbage. He has been so far. I just don't see him throw anything that looks like it should get people out. If I remember correctly he had a horrible april last season too
  3. So are we going to go from our best in of the season to possibly our worst loss or are we going to get up off the deck and come back and win this baby?
  4. Good point. I like him so maybe I am guilty of focussing on the good more than I should so far
  5. It is interesting to see another team's stud struggle like some of ours have in the early going. I think maybe I could get Howard out right now
  6. I guess maybe I am one of those people that has been fooled into thinking he is a better contact hitter than he has been thus far. I know he was in the minors
  7. This is just awful. Good lord. Up to our early season hero Kaplan
  8. C'mon Rick. Anyone else not looking forward to Riske in the 8th?
  9. Not me Really? He doesn't strike out much. Especially on 3 pitches
  10. And he has two more walks and a run scored today
  11. I cant say I agree with letting Soup hit here EDIT - ok, I'm glad he changed his mind
  12. How about Bill Hall today?! Great sign that he is taking the ball up the middle and the other way
  13. FYI the cubs are on WGN today if you would like to watch them lose, Time for Marquis to pitch like the bum that he is. Another great outing from SOUP!
  14. Lets hope he doesn't make that mistake again. He was worried about the bullpen being taxed in that game too and he pulls a cruising Soup out after 85 pitches and a bleeder through the IF
  15. Crap! Lets go Hart! Make up for your base running error Or not
  16. No kidding! Lets go here! And don't run us out of any more innings please... Nice work Braun!
  17. Love ya Jenks but I'm real glad you didn't come up with a hit there
  18. I know thats not what you meant, but the point is that if any throw (perfect or not) would have gotten him out at 3rd then he should have never tried it. Its just too big of a risk when you already have yourself if scoring position with nobody out. Its pretty much an unwritten rule in baseball. Especially when the throw is so short as opposed to the right-center gap or down the RF line
