Boy did we need that one! Great swing George, and what a slide by Mat!

I'd argue that Gonzalez should only have 1 error really. He was charged with one when he made a fabulous diving play and made a good throw only to have Gamel no where near the bag. Another was the result of a horrible hop at the last second that hit him in the chest. Not sure what games you have been watching, but he looks far from decrepit to me. I've watched a ton of baseball early this season, and he's getting to as many balls as any other SS I've seen. As far as your clubhouse leadership comment, I don't know anymore of what goes on in the Brewers clubhouse than probably most if not all of the other members here, but from what I have read, Prince's presence in the clubhouse really hasn't been missed. Corey Hart said Counsell was their real leader in the clubhouse, and to a lesser degree, Weeks and Braun (EDIT).

Watching highlights of other teams' exciting wins combined with how the Brewers are playing of late

Got Pat Morita in 14 questions, which I thought was pretty impressive. But when I was thinking of Gorman Thomas, it guessed George Brett

I meant when did he stop going by Mike and start going by Giancarlo? I thought that was rather obvious

I was so mad that RRR pinch hit Kottaras for Luc in the 9th last night.

When did Mike Stanton become Giancarlo Stanton?
  8. GormanHarvey
Yes, seriously, do they not ever tire of that song/chant?

Nyjer looks awful in CF so far this year

    I did not see this...wow.

I'm hoping he's not long for this team. And I couldn't agree with you more on your Counsell sentiments. Never thought I'd miss him either, but he was just on the pre game and that's exactly what I was thinking. Lets get a W today boys...could really use it.

He's only playing because Gonzalez is on paternity leave, in case you hadn't heard that

Anyone else happen to see Mike Cameron's ceremonial 1st pitch at the Mariners game yesterday? Ichiro was catching and he threw it maybe 30 mph. And bounced it. It was weird.

Yeah I can't really fault him. It was a tough spot. KRod destroyed Uggla's bat...unfortunately his weak groundball snuck its way through the drawn in infield.

Hopefully Izturis remembers how to throw the ball in a hurry. He couldn't all spring, and on Thursday vs the cubs the two throws he had from 3rd were both bad. One pulled Ishikawa off the bag (Ish got him with the tag) and the other was a tough in between hop that Ish very nicely picked. Congrats Alex, but hurry back!

They said during the postgame that Gonzo is leaving the team for a few days to be with his expectant wife, so Farris is coming up on a paternity stint move to help man SS with the great Cesar Izturis
