I agree that Cam could probably use a rest. I just don't like it when he is out for selfish reasons - I love watching him play CF. Duffy is good defensively too, and I doubt he can do any worse at the plate against Dempster than Cam has in his career (although Duff doesn't have near the pop of plate discipline Cam possesses). As hard as it is for me to say this, I am glad Counsell is in there today. IIRC he is like a .308 career hitter off Jazz Hands

This is the same Mitch Williams that has said several times on the MLBN that any pitcher that throws Braun anything but fastballs is just stupid because Braun is nothing but a off speed hitter. Hey Mitch, what pitch was that last night that Braun smoked over the right-center wall to win the game?? Mitch does not seem too bright to me - especially after watching a ton of MLBN. Didn't Magrane play for the Twins? -

Can't wait for the game to start! I love MP at all times, but when the roof and panels are open it is the best! Anyone know much about Wells?? Glad to hear you got rid of the tickets haw and that they went to Crew fans. Wish it could have been me to take them off your hands

I'm surprised baseball movies are being talked about being screened here and no one has mentioned that they would want Eight Men Out. I love that movie and think it would be a good fit for the setting. Also Bull Durham would be at the top of my list

I have just been following this news about Manny on here, but if I am reading these last few posts correctly, it seems to me he was taking hCG to combat the effects of long term steroid use? Does that sound about right? Wasn't happy about his pea-sized testes? -
What a fun game. Tons of hitting including a grand slam, great defense (Duffy one of the best catches I have ever seen), Manny gets his first hit and win, and Corporan making his first appearance and getting his first hit. Good stuff! Lets keep it rollin'!
