    Totally agree Invader. The SF series looks even worse now than before we knew the weather with it being beautiful there yesterday and now this mess. As far as the home opener goes, I would really love to know who came up with that brain child? (I know, MLB) They could be playing the Bad News Bears and it would be a sellout. Instead its the Cubs, and to top it off on a holiday friday with a 3 PM start!? Don't get me wrong - I will be there and I'm very excited about it, but its going to be a mess. 2 extra hours of drinking for fans that already don't like each other. Traffic will be a mess and many fans will be a mess. Its going to be more like Bad Friday

    Invader - it was originally a 3:05 start time that pushed back 20 min for opening day ceremonies, thus a 3:25 start (FINGERS CROSSED)

    Yeah when I was looking last week and this weekend there seemed to be more for the sat. game than there is now. I got 4 IF Loge from one guy and 2 IF Diamond Loge from another guy for sat game - all for under face. Good luck!

    Thanks for the info MBB! I checked here in EC and all they had were the satin Cooperstown ones for $22. But I have a good buddy in Madison and he said he would pick one up for me. I can't believe that. They are on sale online at Kohl's, but they are still $72!

    For any of you that have the MLB Extra Innings package through DirecTv, did you get it for the price of $169 (that is being advertised on the MLB E.I. website) or did you pay $189 that is listed on the Direc website? Thanks...

    Thanks chowyo EDIT: The MLB Extra Innings website shows it as $169 until 4/12 through your cable provider. The DirecTv website still showing it at $189 (and thats only if you order by 4/12)

    I personally think it's pretty crappy that the Giants scheduled that exhibition game there yesterday. No other teams played exhibitions. Anyone know for sure if the game will be in HD on FSN tomorrow. As far as I know its not supposed to be, but I have also heard it will be. Anyone have a definitive asnwer? This is a bit off topic, but in TH's blog last week he had something about if Time Warner customers order the MLB Extra Innings package by April 12th they can get it for $169 ($20 less than normal). Anyone know if this applies to DirecTv customers also? Thanks...

    I think Coffey is vastly underrated on here. Macha likes him a lot, and for good reason. He will be one of our best relievers this season

    Good post Brewer Fever! I agree with most everything you said - especially about Macha and Braun. I am so excited to have a smart, competent manager with a great coaching staff around him that he will hopefully listen to. The guy has never had a losing season. And unfortunately I think the intercostal strain is going to pop up several times during the season on Braun. However, I don't think they will start quite as slowly as you do. I think their starting rotation is underrated and that Bush, Suppan, and Looper provide the consistency, inning-eating, and veteran leadership that will help Yo and especially Manny pitch to the level they are capable of. The bullpen is my main concern. I am worried about the injury Hoffman has at the age he is at. AND about Riske. Just doesn't look like he has the stuff to get hitters out. Prediction for season record: 92-70 and a postseason berth GO BREW CREW!!! EDIT: I admire your willingness to stay true to your word on the Weeks jersey, but he is more than content with the fact that they made the playoffs. Hang onto that baby - he's going to have a good year! I believe the person you speak of has posted once since his reinstatement
