How was JHJ's crappy?Swung at a 2-0 pitch that almost hit him and then blooped a ball which, if the fielder didn't have his momentum going backward, wouldn't have come close to driving in the run. He was lucky to be bailed out.

I knew that was going to be a dangerous pitch once in ran to 3-2 with Upton on deck. He had protection, guys.

BTW, yes that was odd.

Crappy AB's by Prince and JHJ, but we were lucky they had to go back on a baseball, and it was good baserunning by Morgan to steal that run.

And now that biased jag costs us a run. I'm furious right now.

Nope. If the team dips into the bullpen it should be from the proven quartet of Saito-Hawkins-KRod-Ax.

This umpire is a biased piece of crap. He's not calling anything slightly off the plate from Gallardo but Kennedy has already gotten a couple of those calls.

Hawkins hasn't blown a lead all year. LOL at those wanting him to be lifted for a little turbulence. You can't blame him at all for walking that gnat Blomqvist. He's a Counsell type and wasn't trying to hit anything fair with a 5-run deficit.
-
The Hawkins-KRod-Axford last 3 inning relief rotation should not change here with a 5-run lead.
-
That's what winners do. They pounced on every pitch thrown over the plate but didn't pressure themselves into doing too much with them.
-
The Brewers are back in control now. I knew Corey and Tony would come through in those situations. This offense isn't just the Braun and Prince duo.

What a call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kirk Gibson walks like a caveman.

The Brewers should make a serious attempt to re-sign both ancient relievers on the team, Saito and Hawkins, who will be FA's in the offseason. They've been great when healthy this season. But age and health will drive down their price and deservedly so.

Or Greinke just doesn't handle pressure well as he'd be prone to with his anxiety issues. There are a lot of things you could attribute to. It could also just be a bad game. Regardless, he should be taken out at this point.

He couldn't even make it through the requisite 5. The curveball looked a lot better that inning but he's not missing hardly any bats on that fastball.
